There's no electrical section here - so.......
I moved the wire lead for the 12 volt outlet over to near the glove box but it's not long enough to do anything with, even pulled hard to the right, there's just no length, so I had to pop the outlet back onto the connecor next to the glovebox - remove the glove box to access the outlet, put glove box back.
So I'm hoping someone makes a 12" or so EXTENSION that will plug into the existing 12 volt outlet connector and allow me to run that lead to a better place and actually re-install the 12v outlet on the right side somewhere.
I'd have to rip the dash center apart to extent those wires by cutting and putting more wire length in, all that stuff and would rather something I can simply PLUG INTO the existing connector.
I didn't really figure on using that 12 volt outlet this soon - but am finding I really miss it, especially now that I have a lighted wreath on the grill LOL
I did run the wire for the wreath up into the truck, pulled the glovebox out, pulled really hard to get access to the connector I had strapped up next to the glove box so it wouldn't get lost, plugged another 12 v outlet to it and plugged the wreath wiring into it - stuffed into the area to the left of the glove box. It works, but geesh, I have to pull things apart to get to it again.
I wanted to use that because it's switched with the accessories - off when truck is off, on when truck is on. Perfect for this purpose.
