mine sounds like the passenger window is cracked open too. My wife says she can feel air coming in from the bottom of the door so I’m thinking it’s the door seal.

The lower door seals are suspect. I've felt water on my legs in an auto car wash a few times when I wear shorts.

Depending - IF it's a hard top some have found reseating the freedom panels helps, others have found some adjustment somewhere to make them fit better.
Door seals are another place to look.
I think my wife's JLU Rubicon is quieter than my JT and she doesn't have any headliner, I do.

Have door sill guards installed by chance?
No, just drove it off the lot Friday evening. Which guards are you referring to?

I have answered the question... it's a hard top
Thanks for finally stating that. You never actually said that before, we were all just assuming.

I agree with the alignment theory. But being as new as it is, I would take it to a dealership and make them fix it. I understand you said you were a distance from where you bought it, but sometimes it’s worth it to take it back to the source.

The last thing you want is for it to be something more than it looks like, or for you to do something wrong on accident, and now you’ve really got a problem. Don’t take that on yourself, let the dealership handle that risk.

Sounds dumb, but check your drain plugs. You'd be shocked how much noise will show up when the drain plug is out. Happened in my wife's JLUR. A passenger accidently kicked it out somehow and she didn't notice until later. She got home convinced something was wrong with the windshield or window on the passenger side. She took me for a ride in it and I thought the same thing until I just happened to notice that the drain plug was pulled up. Put it back in and problem solved.

Check the gap on the back side of the A-pillars (see pic below). I had to fill this gap with automotive foam tape to fix my wind noise. Before filling the gap, it sounded like I had a window just barely cracked open.

To see if this is your problem, simply cover this area with blue painter's tape and see if the noise goes away.

I plan on removing the freedom tops tomorrow and replacing them. Possibly the guy showing me how to remove and replace them at the dealership reinstalled them crooked, who knows. I also ordered a full set of Hothead headliners with the assassin strip and side panel pieces that should be here by Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Also in another reply someone mentioned to check alignment of the windshield. I did that yesterday and there is definitely a difference between the 2 sides. I am going to have to make an appointment with the dealership about the hinge misalignment and adjustment ?
