I think they're the best all around tire if you're driving in dirt, sand and snow but still want to enjoy your truck on the highway and towing. They look fantastic too. I'm about 20,000 miles in right now. I could stand corrected but I expect to get another 20,000 out of them easily.

I removed mine on delivery day and sold them. Went with KO2's. Not that the Falken's seemed like a bad tire, I just like the KO2's better. I have always been a BFG tire guy.

And oh, those white letters! ?
I'm a fan of the BFGs as well and have always ran them probably 5 sets over the past 6yrs. I switched to a set of Kanati Trail Hogs in October of last year because I always wanted to run a set and I got to say I may have a new favorite tire. I have zero bad things to say about the Kanati's. They look good and are only a 72lb 37 plus I think they do better in the rain than the KO2's do. I got a little over 18,000 miles on them and they barely look worn.

I have 43,000 on my Wildpeaks, wearing good still have around 12mm of tread left on my tire gage. Good in the rain, works well in sand. I have used BFGs in the past and have Nitro terra grabbers on my F250 and the wife's TJ have no complaints with either tire, but I will most likely stay with the Wildpeaks they appear to wear a little better.

Looks great. My Jeep came with 285/70s as stock and I really like them. I am very surprised how quiet they are and how well they work in the snow.

I just noticed you have locks on your wheels. I am guessing that the jeep came with them.

My strong advice to you is that unless you live in the Mattapan, you should should get rid of locks before you are struggling on the side of the road or trail trying to get the wheel off and the lock key is slipping.

Our wheels go on with 130 ft-lbs of torque. My old Volvo used 85 ft-lbs. Our lug nuts go on pretty tight.

Throw in a few years of New England corrosion and you have a prescription for a problem.
Fellow New Englander south of Boston. I use silicone lug nut caps (black, 21mm) on our Gladiator and our JL. Keeps anything from getting onto the threads. I remove them before I have tires rotated during service.

I agree on the weight and when researching I didn’t think it would be much of an issue overall, but I started noticing higher revving in low gears from a stop and less roll when taking foot off brake pedal when stopped (in an automatic). How much of a decrease, would you say, the weight of the tires has on reduced MPG’s?
Sure, they are heavy, but they are a good tire. My buddy has 35's on his JK and it's been from Moab to Main and they've performed beautifully from hgihway to rocks to mud to sand. Great tire, especially off-road. And they are as quiet as any AT I've seen. He loves them. His Dad picked up a set that are about 32" for his JK and they've pulled that thing through some tough trails shockingly well, too.

Not the greatest picture, but the only one I could find.

JT with JLR wheels and tires.jpg
That looks so much better than my black Mojave wheels.

Any issues with rubbing??

Those are nice.

And another reason to get rid of any wheel locks.

Lots of people seem to think that the different Mojave wheel offset is to clear the larger shocks. I don't believe it. If you look, there is a ton of clearance at the shocks, and moving the tire about 1/4" inboard still gives plenty of clearance. No clearance issues when turned to full lock either. With that said, I haven't tried to fully flex the suspension, but I don't see any way that the 1/4" is going to cause any problems.

I don't claim to be an expert. That's interesting.

On a side note, I don't know if you saw the other thread that was about a pricing error on Walmart.com.

Kenda Klever ATs for $80 each instead of $286 each. I bought 5. I couldn't pass it up. I should be able to sell my Falkens for more.

These have been my go to tire for several years. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains and have tried most of the big brands. Driving mountain roads is rough on tires. These are the best AT I've found. They are quiet smooth drive great, and they are great in the snow.
I waited over a year trying to get them in 35s. I ended up buying Toyo AT3s. These are a great looking tire but much louder. We didn't have much of a winter so I can't comment much about them in the snow.

IDK which specific Falkens I have, but they're the A/Ts that came on my stock Rubicon. I bought it new in September of 2019 and I have 32k miles on them. I keep them at 38-41 psi. I prefer the more aggressive look of the optional M/Ts, but not enough to tolerate the noise I hear they make. When I wear these out, it'll probably be between another set of these or the BFG T/A KO2s. I'd totally buy them again.
