You guys have fun. Wish I could make it. Just got too many irons in the fire right now. Wifey has brain surgery scheduled for her parkinson's next month. So I have a full plate.
I've never heard of that,
Does it help recover some of the loss of motor functionality?

and definitely best wishes on a successful surgery and fast recovery

Thank you.
They are implanting 2 electrodes to simulate different parts of the brain to stop the shaking. It's a 3 week procedure. The first Monday. They will implant 4 screws at each corner of the skull. These will be used as markers for mapping. Then do a MRI to map the brain.
During the week. They will make a skull cap/drill jig to locate exactly where to drill.
The second Monday. They will drill into the skull using the skull cap for exact location. Then implant the the electrodes.. Wake her up and they will adjust the simulator to control her shaking.
The 3rd Monday. They will run the wires from the electrodes to the simulator under the skin. And hope that she doesn't get an infection from the surgery.

Put me down as a maybe for this one. I've got a RC trail pass to burn up this year.

I'm in for Greens and Blues.

FYI I will be camping at AOAA this Saturday - Sunday and Rock Crawling with BMJA on Sunday.

This is on top of 10/22

Just felt like bragging, but it's also an invite

Man nice, Sunday at AOAA is also the Tread Lightly! + Quadratec "50 for 50" cleanup event. Not really wheeling but supposedly some awesome giveaways and free lunch. Look on Facebook to register free (and free day entry to AOAA). I'm registered but something came up and I have to bow out. Have fun!

Looks as if I am in. And most likely have a JL tag along too.

Finally get a chance to use the membership again before the end of the year.

What time are we meeting? Earlier the better because I'm probably going to have to bail around 1.

I'm up for meeting by 9, or even a little earlier if need be. I'm less than 1.5 hou4s away. @Elff what time would your group be there. Do you think they mind if we tag along?

I try to get to the park around 8 so I can take my time and meet up with everyone and hit the trails by 9. I think BMJA would be happy to have more jeeps. The regulars are a really nice group of people and know the trails very well
