Fall run at Rausch Creek 10/22

Ok, still planning to be there, having some drama in our house with a rescue dog we adopted that got away, ended up in the street where a Good Samaritan was about to pick him up, when four teenagers in a green Pontiac, changed lanes to hit him, had swelling of brain, brain trauma but everyday is getting better , but we can’t leave him very long, so my wife can’t come but I’ll be there.


BUT, BUT, BUT you guys can’t let me wreck my Jeep, need to keep it a long long time towing camper and surf fishing, have some skids( rear shocks,front and rear of rear LCAs, rear hitch skid),sway bar disconnects, have GMRS in truck and two handhelds, Mojave is a bit higher already so see ya then, need at least a badge….maybe two!….Jack

It's funny, I have done all these Trails but I never do that Trail Badge thing. But I can guarantee you we will be at the 2 Harder ones for RC on Saturday.
Last time out, I took everyone up Trail 11. We could try and hit all 3 if people really wanted to do that. Start at Crawl Daddy, then head to Ridge, then head to 11

Isn’t that backwards? I am good either way.
@Jaxmax those kids should have to play on the interstate for a while and see how they fare. We rescued GSPs for years, stopped after our daughter was born just because you never know. She is 14 now and our next one will be a rescue again.

Yea Looking at the Map
A better order would probably be working our way to Crawler Ridge, then work our way to Crawl Daddy, then work our way to 11.
Lots of Blue/Black Trails to do this.

A-> B -> C -> 5 - Turn right to take 5 to B -> Turn Right to hop on 2 -> Turn left on 1B around Frog Hole -> Turn right on D -> Crawler Ridge [Play around on all 3 options]
Head out to Pole Line -> Tower Road -> J -> Crawl Daddy -> 15 -> J -> 12B -> 20 -> 11 and ride that allow the way around to where you get the Badge, past the short cut, past JK Killer and then decide if we want to do 23, 11B or 18 A + B

I really dont give a shit about badges. Especially if there is that other large group there this sat, i am 100% staying away from the badges tourists.

The internal blues like 10-a and 12 on the West side are pretty mellow for blues and usually dont get too much traffic. And if people want go ahead and check 11 and CD. But tourists on CD can clog it up forever.
Elff you been out on South to quarry trail and lake christy lately? Last i was at the lake the drops down were pretty washed out

Krawlin for K9s was Oct 15
My jeep club will be at AOAA
So its just a normal weekend at RC.

I have not been down to the South in Ages because its a lot of driving for only a couple of trails.

On the RC cal too. They are advertising a food truck, so maybe thats an upside? Or ill just eat Mt House somewhere in the woods

Reached out to RC, while there will be a group, they said not nearly the size of Tatas of other really large events.

I saw that for AOAA on Nov 12 and did not realize they were also doing it at RC.

HMMMMMMMM, that could really make RC a total Traffic Jam.

We could switch over to AOAA instead.

Thoughts?

I have been to AOAA once and never been to RC, so either place is new to me. I’m just good to get out there for a day.
