My hit came after me being personally attacked, called a pompous ass, then getting tattled on before they quit the forum… lol

Ok, I got my AEV 2 inch lift kit with the longer Mopar control arms. I am not arguing that level lower control arms are not the best format to be in for ride, but I am going to install without the brackets and see if I notice a real difference from stock. Its just 2 inches so my hope is that there is not much difference because I'm cheap and dont want to spend another 300 bucks if I don't have to, but I also don't want to impede the ride to much on an expensive vehicle. I will try to be as impartial as I can be. Subjective, seat of the pants results to follow :)

I suspect that with a 2in lift it will be minimal.

Well.........this is me.........

That was me years ago. I've honed my responses accordingly to not be the biggest jackass on the forum. lol.

There's only one topic that gets my a-holeness turnt up to 11. It got me banned from the VW forum when I took a troll out to the woodshed. While I admit I don't know everything, I cannot stand people who think they do. The Dunning-Kruger Effect is real.

There are times that I bite my tongue and watch it play out before I throw my 2 cents in. If I even do that. I'll just stay quiet.

I like to bait them to the point where they get banned, posts deleted, or the thread locked.

But sometimes you just gotta try and win an Internet fight (lol).

After the Lewiston, ME event a few of us on the board were discussing the inaccuracy of the "gotta be first without regard to truth" media. The reported numbers were something like 12 dead and 60 injured. Some troll popped in and was stirring s**t. I had a typo in one of my posts and he lit into me for being inaccurate when complaining about inaccuracy in the media.

1) Mass media isn't my job 2) posting on online message boards isn't my job.

I told him to STFU, the adults are talking. He came back with something stupid, again, and I popped off. Apparently telling someone to have relations with their dead mother is verboten? Who would have thought? lol.

There was a couple more back-and-forth before the ban hammer came down. Because I've been on there for 20+ years, I only got a 4-month ban.

2A stuff gets me ticked when people are knowingly dishonest (I did move 800+ miles to a different state because of 2A laws in WA became stupid). It only took 2 replies (both factual and not insulting) on Twitter to get blocked by former Head Idiot Shannon Watts when she was posting "facts" she gleaned from watching the movie SWAT. "Did you know that a .50 cal rifle can take down a chopper!?! And people can buy these!"

Please, Shannon, point to the singular instance where someone shot down a helicopter with a .50 cal rifle (I'll even give you *any* rifle) that was not a part of military action in the US.

The internet makes it a lot easier for it to thrive. Anyone with an account is an expert. (just ask 'em)

Then sometimes it's hard to really determine a person's background or experience as they may come across as less capable or competent than they really are.

Like a friend used to say "just because that tool says "professional grade" on the box............" "
and you know the rest
