I finally got off my buttocks and tore into the engine bay. I did complete tune up (Darn sure needed it), even replaced the PCV valve which wasn't
nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Swapped in A.F.E Scorcher coils, and NGK Iridium plugs. Metal oil cooler as well as the metal lower intake.
not gonna lie, there was some serious fabrication going on with the hardware but nothing to major. She starts and she purrs!. Total downpour just as i was
finishing up so no test drive yet (not when pouring down rain) in case of a mishap. But no leaks when I fired her up.
New intake with fuel rail and injectors:

There's gotta be some backstory I don't know.

Why'd you need to open the engine up? There's a metal intake? Tell me about the coils.

The Gladdy is going on 120k miles and everything under the hood is factory original. So I knew I was going to tear it apart to do the tune up and just so happened to have a metal oil cooler and a metal lower intake from a 2017 JK. Did some research and seemed to me that they would work on the Gladdy. But first I bored and semi polishes the runners in the intake. Except for doing some fab work on hardware it all fell in place. I have installed A.F.E. Scorcher coils because some of my friends have them and have had no issues. NGK Iridium Plugs and all small sensors and PVC valve are Mopar. Started it up and ran smooth as silk. Didn't test drive it yet because as soon as I finished it began raining..Hard, and didn't want to get stranded in it. So I will test drive it later today.

I remember when changing spark plugs required just to remove the spark plugs and wires. I miss simple engine bays. But hey, if I had skills like @DanJT I'll probably do it myself too! Great work brother!

Did you peak at your intake cams? Did you even take the valve covers off? You were so close, if not.

Naw, didn't peak due to having no ticking. But will probably kick myself if it develops one!

OK, took it for a long test drive and was pretty surprised at how quite it ran, that and ran way cooler than I expected.
A few seconds of cold start:

Coolant temps 10 minutes into drive. Although it did finally raise to 198:
