Since this has body colored fenders and top, Jeep can no longer hide behind the "having problems with paint" excuse they have been giving us LE folks.

Hard to tell with the light, but I am not sure that is body color fenders or top. I actually really think the fenders are black. Top is harder to tell.

It looks to be a sport, which you can't get bodies colored, so it is black.

Found this interesting on this guy's Sport order. Forced the bedliner on the order, but didn't come delivered with the bedliner.

Ah, there was hope with a Granite Sport S delivering this weekend that we would see progress on the Granite LEs. Alas, Jeep continues to disappoint.

Paige confirmed still in C status. 14 weeks/96 days now. And to instill even more confidence in anything Jeep tell us, Paige said, and I quote: "They are scheduled to begin build the end of this month, but we cannot guarantee that."

So, I am the guy that has posted the photos of the Granite Crystal Gladiator on facebook. I see my pics made it here. Good stuff, facebook was easier at the campground this weekend. The Jeep is a max tow sport S, and the fenders and top are black, not color matched, interestingly enough, the dealer wasn't sure when we ordered it if it would be color matched...although I've been sniffing this forum for a while and on facebook and knew that the color matched wasn't available on the sport.

The Jeep did deliver to the dealer on 7-2, in the evening, it must have rolled off the assembly line, on to the transport truck, and two hours to the dealer. The build date on the sticker in the door does show 7-19, so it was built on the 1st or 2nd of July and Dad took delivery on July 5th.

Dad ordered the Jeep on 6-17. They told us 4-6 weeks. For 2 weeks we heard nothing, I emailed the salesman on Tuesday the 2nd and was given the status that it would show up soon. Then he called me and said it was delivering that day. The Jeep had to be slated to be built the way that Dad ordered and they computer was smart enough to put his name on it. It does have his name on the window sticker.

They forced us to order the bedliner, which we didn't want to pay the extra $495 for. Then it didn't show up with a bedliner. We declined it again at the time of the sale, but forgot to look and see if it was on the window sticker and if we paid for it. After the sale, I looked at the paperwork and saw we did pay for it. So now the saleman is working with Jeep to get Jeep to pay for a local company to do a bedliner since it's on the window sticker and we paid for it. Which is fine. My Dad is happy to get the Gladiator and loves it.

If I get my ducks in a row, I'm hoping to buy a Gladiator Rubi this fall.

I chatted with Jeep on Monday and was told I was in D status. Had been for 28 days. Rep told me can be in D up to 30. Just talked to my dealer and she said went to D1 today with a build date of 7-26-19. Exactly 30 days. Hopefully this is accurate.

OK. So I'm hearing three completely different stories today. And you wonder why we continue to be so frustrated:

• @JeepCares says Granite LEs started build this week
• The Jeep concierge line continues to tell us that they may start building Granite LEs by the end of the month (but no guarantee)
• My dealer is saying they are hearing from their reps that Granite LEs may start building next week.

Why are three different Jeep sources giving three different answers?

I'm not holding my breath yet. Hopefully, your dealer might be right. If builds start next week, it would give FCA the rest of this week to get VIN's assigned. Maybe that is what @JeepCares may be refering to as starting this week. We can only hope. But, we have heard so many different stories, we don't know what to believe anymore.

Welp fellers, I’m calling it. I gave up and caved to a LE local to my state. Dealer beat my current deal and I’m joining the Billet Silver team saturday morning. Don’t worry though @kayakmike , I’ll still put on my tin foil hat with you and call Barbara or Paige every now and then. I’m going to find someone to call to tell me I’m in C status for an undisclosed amount of time.
