damnit, they told me like 2 days ago it wouldn't be ready until next month........., i know i know, i shouldn't be mad its coming out sooner, just mad you found out before me, lmao. So no discount on this thing, same price as all others.

Yes, we finished specs ahead of schedule and our test fit went perfect yesterday afternoon making it immediately available!

I was talking to them a few days ago and they told me they had a Gladiator and were working on it. Next month actually sounds right. The website says it will be ready to ship in 26-29 days.

What are ya gonna do ? These manufacturers will yes you to death only to get your foot in the door and squeeze a commitment out of your wallet - even if it means a "pre-order" . . . I liken it to sorta like "pledging" your dollars to Public Radio Stations during their bi-annual "Fund Drives" ! .
I do sorta like their cover(s), but wish I may, wish I might SUGGEST (loudly) that they offer one up as a ONE PIECE - like a traditional Tonneau, AND offer it with a Taller side panel - oh say that 4" or even up to 6" . Opening strait up from the back with 2 powerful struts and a strong(er) automotive/military grade lock . HINT ! With the strength of the metal, one could easily put a rack mounting system OR mount Directly thru the cover, any RTT desired - assuming they waterproof the drilled holes ! Only drawback is they are NOT light to begin with, so it would delete from your total carrying capacity !
If only A.R.E. would do the same thing with a Fiberglass/Kevlar (mix) ! ? Thus light, strong and worthy of my patronage - assuming THEY too offer me my 10% Retired Military Discount ! ? See what I did ? Came full circle just for your benifit !

Looking for the same thing, but one that is compatible with a bedrack as well. Unfortunately the retrax + Yakima rack setup that I have see all the time on Tacomas won't work as Retrax isn't planning on making a cover for the Gladiator...

Ahhhh, but you're like me in that you're planning to order a Gator Green one right? So just order the DiamondBack right after you order your Jeep. It seems to me that DiamondBack is just building them after the order is placed. I bet they just needed to sort the sizing out and they were ready to go pretty quick. It's a very simple, but well thought out, design.

I'm still wondering if I'll put some sort of tent on top of it or park and ATV on it. I think a four wheeler strapped to the top of a Gladiator bed would look so frackin' cool. But then, I could always just tow it.

BTW, another thing I like about the diamondback is that it's light weight. I'm thinking I can store it under my Racor lift when it's not in use.

well I'm actually hoping to drive home a white Pre-Spec in mid/late June, then in 2-3 years buying a Rubigator.
