Flat tow with...

Hello all, my 2022 Gladiator is fresh off the press. My question, probably first of many, is to flat tow with a base plate or new bumper. I use a Blue Ox behind the RV.

I went with the aluminum Rock Hard bumper and love it. Improves the look, adds functionality, i dont have to keep track of other parts and probably weighs less than the stock bumper. I use the NSA tow bar so it also gave me a good place to mount the cables for the brake and breakaway. I also tow behind a class 'c'

I use the Rock Hard aluminum bumper(37lbs) with a Warn Evo 8s(52lbs). Only gained a few pounds with little sag. I use the Roadmaster All-Terrain tow bar. Tows great with my Class C.

I have a new "shorty" bumper with a winch and my Blue Ox base plate sites right below it. I like the set up.

I use the blue ox base as well. Tucks up nicely under skid plate with minimal trimming.

On my 2020 JT I went with a Rugged Ridge Spartan bumper and Blue Ox adapters; on my wife's 2022 JLU I went with the Blue Ox baseplate because she didn't want to change out the stock bumper. Both mate up real easy to our NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar.

I, too went with the Maximus 3 tow loops. I think they’re the least obvious option, and easy to install.
