Not my thing but its cool if others go for it. I have my hulu girl who dances on my dash dailing. She has been with me now for like 10 years. She's a white girl now and not a tanned native islander any longer

A wave is more than enough for me - don't need physical evidence of random affirmation.
This is coming from a completely different generation though, one where owning a Jeep meant rugged independence, not being part of a 'community'.

I was going to say, "Go duck yourself."
But the duck flambeau topped that.

True confessions:
A duck with a tag in my naked TJ
led me to the local club on facebook.
My daughter bought my cousin's Hard Rock
and was surprised by the duck phenomenon.
Now my grandkids love ducking other Wranglers.

It's all good. It builds community.
After my oldest grandson totaled his two door JK
he was busted down to a Yukon almost as old as he is.
He said that he missed the community.

I'm not really into the "duck duck jeep", but I play along. Most of the time when I get "ducked", I give to another Jeep that collect them, or give it to the kids.
Instead of rubber ducks, I go to Walmart, Kroger, Five Below or any store that sell Hot Wheels/Matchbox Jeeps, and give it away. Cost you the same or sometime less than that.
The "Duck Duck Jeep" started in 2019 with Covid. But now, it's like a movement.

As for the Jeep Wave... Keep waving! Even if the other one doesn't.
Keep the tradition alive!

I keep a bag of ducks in my gladiator; my family tries to spread them like candy on Halloween.

My gladiator hasn't been ducked yet; but I have three for my Wrangler and it always makes me happy. Amazon sells duck mounts; I'm thinking of mounting them upside down above the windshield. I have a standard yellow duck, a pink duck, and a black duck that matches the JK.

My First Duck was from a fellow vet (he had this grumpy, leave-me-alone vibe going on) at a dealership I worked at for a few months.
I bought this clapped out 07 JKU that had just been traded in (my first and only wrangler). The detail shop cleaned it and he drove it over from the shop. As he got out, he reached back in and placed a soldier duck in an Army Beret on the dash. Then he smiled at me and walked back to his shop. To this day, I think I've spoken a dozen words with the man, but that was a cool moment.

I think people who get butthurt over the ducks are the ones with the problem..... HOW do you get butthurt over someone's kind gesture, it's altruism at its finest...
Couldn't agree more... It's "don't touch my Jeep" when they don't scratch anything or hurt it, so just keep the ducks moving.

OR

It's "im real tough, I don't need validation"
-well, I'm an Infantry Officer who lost 2 best friends, one in combat who I loaded on the plane home with a flag, and another to PTSD suicide...we lost 27 on our trip...and, I grew up on welfare, on a farm, and was an MMA cagefighter for 6 years...so..don't give me the "tough" guy line... I might be all of what I just said, but I also have hard days and a simple gesture like a duck...ESPECIALLY BECAUSE it's JUST a silly stupid little duck...made me smile when I needed one.

In what world is goodness or kindness stomped on (or burnt -see above). Why not just take the duck and give it to a kid, or put it on someone else's Jeep. In a quite literal sense, you may save someone's life by making them smile, feel noticed, feel thought I'd, there's a lot of power in that!!!

And I DO AGREE, it is silly, it's a goofy trend, it may even feel "stupid" to me too at times. But my kids love it...and the whole point was to open others eyes to see that yesterday, when I didn't know I needed it...it mattered. So it's an opportunity to change your perspective of "stupid ducks" to simple gesture of kindness.

My wife gets ducked all the time, me not so much☹
It's because people are too busy loving your Cobra. Probably my all time favorite car, it's my Dad's fault ?
