First time Jeep owner coming from Fords and Toyotas (Lexus). So far I’m really liking this rig. It definitely louder inside, but I’m used to it having owned classic cars as well most of my life.

Bought it bone stock in June.

A couple of weeks later, I got ducked…

Got the front windows tinted to match the rest of the factory tint.

I took the winch off my GX before I sold it, and installed it [Banned Site] style. I to get some d-ring frame mounts so I can get rid of the stock hooks.

Today I got the AEV 2” spacer lift (front only because I actually wanted it level) installed and it’s now sitting on 37x12.5 Toyo RTs wrapped around the new 17x8.5 -10 KMC IMS wheels.

Next will be gears within a couple of months because it needs them.

Pretty stoked how this thing is looking so far, and I’m ready to get to the dirt.

Looks great. That 2" spacer up front really leveled it out.

You will be fine with the 5.13s. Just be aware that things happen with them. Driveshaft speed is just one.

A few more mods in the last week or so.

The Quadratec hitch came in, so that was installed.

I was slow at work today, so I took a break at the local muffler shop and had a 14” Magnaflow installed. I kept the front resonator and got rid of the rear resonator. It sounds just like I wanted being noticeable but not loud.

My Amazon trail rail system came in today, so that got installed after taking the kid to football practice.

The JT had a good last few weeks.

I got a great deal on a used Lone Peak Camper. So, two weeks ago, the kid and I drove 9 hours on a Friday, we swapped it to my truck on Saturday morning and then headed back home and stopped to use it and camped for the night.

It needed a lift or at least new rear springs with the extra weight. I again found a great deal on parts and so this weekend I installed a 3.5" MetalCloak Game Changer with some Bilstein 5100s which helped a lot. I need some limit straps for the rear.

I'm still going to need something in the rear to help out with the height and weight. I'm thinking airbags, but I'll be researching and making a decision soon.

My friend is a nut job with fab skills... Custom suspension and a K-swap (Honda 2.4L). He's going to kill himself. :CWL:

37x12.5 Toyo Open Country R/T. They are a big 37 measuring right at 36.3" at 35psi. I've got about 6k miles on them and so far I like them.

Airlift just came out with these. I’ve been eyeballing them and working on how to make them work with a lift.

Thanks, I'll look into it as well.

SoCal desert season is officially here. I met up with the SoCal Lone Peak Owners group for it's inaugural meet in Anza Borrego State Park last weekend. It was a little warmer than projected, but it was still an amazing weekend.

Just happened to run into a friend in another gladiator as well.
