We want you to stay so you can tell us why we should keep our Gladiators.

I remember those days of 9 mpg around town in my V8s. I don't miss them.
Well, so far I’m getting 13 in the 392. Belive me when I tell you that I’ve not been taking it easy as the acceleration sound is addictive. That’s only about 1.5 mpg less than I got in my Gladdy with the 37s. If I can stop accelerating with so much spirit (every single time), I’m confident that I can get around 14 and that’s good enough for me.

I can totally relate. It would take me a while to settle down and keep my foot out of it so much!

I can relate. I can't keep my foot out of the throttle in anything I've ever owned. I'm in the 18-19 range in my Gladiator, mixed driving, which is the best I've ever gotten in anything I've owned. I've always been in full sized 4x4 trucks, and still have a 1 ton diesel dually. I just couldn't stomach 13 anymore. I see even more expensive fuel in our future. The next vehicle I buy will be something that gets over 30. I'll still keep the Jeep and the truck.

Congrats on the new ride. Same color as my wife's although she just traded hers in on Saturday. We moved and now her round trip drive to work and back went from 6 miles to 60 miles and it was hard to keep justifying the cost of it but she was definitely sad to see it go but she replaced with with a 24 Mini Cooper Countryman JCW that has 300HP and is pretty dang quick. Doesn't have the same sound almost as fun but what it can't do my Gladiator can. I'm sure you will love it. One thing everyone has recommended is using the Tazer to lock it in 2WD so you don't burn out the transfer case as it seems to be a known issue with them but if you do, do that you have to unlock before you can use the lockers or disengage the sway bar. I forgot I had done it and it took me a good 30min-45min to figure out why nothing was working.

That’s a good looking Jeep! I’m sure it was hard to let go. I appreciate the additional info!

Yeah, it was definitely hard to let it go and we were actually going to just get another commuter vehicle and keep it but it came down to the fact that it if we sold it the wife had a lot more funds for house projects on the new house and ultimately she decided she wanted a nicer house than two cars so it went and we still had my fully built Gladiator to enjoy the outdoors with. Enjoy it and don't pay attention to the gas pump although ours got decent mileage on the hwy around 16mpg but we did mostly city so it was around 12mpg or lower. I do I have a 41.22 Kill switch for it that we never installed if you are interested in it sent me a pm.
