Going slow on the posting here, trying to get it built before I get involved but after 12 weeks I got my Fusion 60’s. Didn't go kingpin or full float because Im not interested in crawling just wanted to build a stout rig for traveling across the country without issue. State parks, Alaska etc. All I can say is the money laid out was quickly forgotten once I laid eyes on them. Eaton lockers and 5.13’s (running BFG KM3 39’s) hopefully start this weekend with the install.

I can give you about 3.50 for them.

Those are super nice! Though I'm surprised you didn't go full float when going with the 60s.

Thanks, I get it but I figured another $4000 to go to 8 lug plus another $1500 to go with new rims. Just wasnt part of tbe plan. Believe me I went back and forth for awhile. Building front end with RCV axles and Reid iron knuckles. No more FAD, aluminum knuckles or interrupted front axle tube. 1350 u joints all the way around and 40 spline rear axles.

I'm with you on the same train of thought that this would be the realistic level of "upgrade" that I'd need for my rig too. I've really wanted to go this route over full floats. These look better in your photos than on Fusion's website! Did you by chance also look at the Currie semi float option? Just curious. Also, does the Eaton work with our OEM locker switches or do you have to wire them up separately?

If you don't mind a suggestion... I'd highly recommend getting the Dynatrac HD ball joints up front before you go installing the Reid knuckles. I think you could make it bombproof with those ball joints.

Look forward to getting your impressions once installed.

im working with Dan the owner right now on getting that website updated. he told me in our first conversation on my project that they were way better and not to expect the axles to look like the website. I didn't necessarily expect the dramatic difference when mine arrived but holy crap he was right. the pics in there are from 3 generations ago and they have made some dramatic improvements since then. the center section is the strongest available currently in the aftermarket and the diff cover itself is incredible. in the interim I suggest people reference their instagram for examples of the current quality. the steering components if you opt for them are only rivaled by the rockkrawler units. everyone else is behind

as far as the e lockers, use the aux or another set of switches. the voltage on the factory circuit isn't correct for the Eatons in his axles or the auburns in mine

welcome to the fusion team!

I recently cracked open the crates to look at my axles and I was totally stunned. gonna be a couple months till I can use them but I have very little doubt about them outliving the jeep itself and if you ever seen me drive, that will be quite the accomplishment haha

So, like you said the site didnt highlight the new housing. I am SOOOO pleased to have received this version. I did look at the Currie stuff but (2) things were a turn off. First the front diff, i was not a fan of the integrated upper control arm mount. Not saying there is anything wrong with it (not my style) not to mention the 35 spline RCV axles were part of the price. The rear was just simply not to the same specs (axle tube thickness) so I went Fusion. 1/4 plate mounts, fully welded and now a bit of adjustability on rear upper control arm mounts were a bonus. As far as ball joints, this front axle does already have dynatrac ball joints installed. Lastly, connecting the lockers is facilitated by the use of Z locker dongles which I bought. Allows for use of oem rubi locker switch (can alter using tazer) but does come with full kits to wire them independently. Dan was great to deal with and part of the reason I did.

the scale of these center sections is just truly astounding. Brian you should definitely try to make it out to Trail Hero this fall or for EJS next year. it'd be awesome to get an all JT all fusion run together. there's a lot of us now shouldn't be too hard to get 8-10 together at the same time

That is one sexy looking axle, gawd damn. I'm going with an long distance overland build so keeping the weight down and will be sticking to 37s or under, otherwise I'd go this route too. Those are beautiful my lord.

I figured the D44s on my Rubicon will handle 35s/37s just fine long term, though you're making me want to get some beefier axles ? I don't need them, I don't need them, I don't need them.

Hi,

Sorry to revive an old conversation 😅 I am in the process of installing fusion 60/80.

Would you happen to know if these are the correct parking brake cables? I received two and weirdly they are labeled JL, so I was wondering if you had the same ones for your Gladiator.

Thanks!
