Now if they would just bring it for Android Auto, the other half of the planet would be happy :)

Actually these are the status globally.

Ooh.. This may be perfect in that I can ditch mounting the iPad now.
EXACTLY.

Gives me more push in finding a 8.4 UConnect to replace my 7.0. Been riding around for a few days with it, and it’s working great. No if only Jeep would make Apple CarPlay full screen!

Curious what those stats are for the US market (or I suppose North American). I’m no fan boy either way, but I’ll say that I prefer Android. Work forced Apple on us last year :swear:

Those are globally. Not for NA or USA only. I am not a fan of Apple either. :) I will see what i can find for just US and NA.

I've been using the free version of GAIA, and have wondered how much storage space is needed to download satellite maps. Can anyone with experience in this chime in? It often seems easier to me to navigate with a good satellite image rather than topo. Thanks in advance.

You can remove topography from your layer selection (right...?). But I know it can chew up some memory space depending on how far you go. I save small areas at a time and it isn’t too bad, but if you shoot for ultra detail with a lot of layers and a lot of space... yeah. I read of some guys that downloaded the four corners out west with a lot of info and were using upwards of 50gb. Before the CarPlay days with iPads being the go to choice, a lot say getting a 64gb would be just about too small for a decent amount of use. I have the subscription and there’s a LOT of tweaking with a tremendous amount that I don’t even understand.
