Garage Door Opener/visor?

My Ram 1500 has an integrated garage door opener on the driver side visor. It connects to the power source for the lighted mirror in the visor. I don't have a Gladiator yet and have not really paid enough attention to see what the actual visors look like or include. Do the Gladiators have a garage door opener in the visor? If not, do they have a visor with a lighted mirror? Has anyone else done anything to incorporate the visor if not present. I can always use the garage door button/module but curious and didn't wonder until this morning as I was shutting my garage. Thanks in advance.

My Rubicon has Homelink garage door controller. I can’t say I’ve paid enough attention to whether the vanity mirror has a light.

My Overland has mirror lights and garage door opener. I think the Sport requires the "Convenience Package" for the garage door opener. I'm not sure if the visors without the garage door opener includes lights with the mirror or not. Another nice thing about the garage door opener is it doesn't function unless the car is on, so nobody can open your garage when your doors are off.

I believe the garage door opener is part of the convenience package - If its like the JL - which i Like the feature it is de-powered when the vehicle is off - keeps people from having access to the garage if doors / top off.

Please note the above post about the unit powers off when the jeep isn't running. That one caught me by surprise when I was washing the gladiator and needed to get in the garage but the keys were in the house.

I printed the pages from the Owner's Manual PDF and took them out to the truck. I followed the instructions just for programming a single button. It only took a couple minutes to program a button to operate the gate opener.

I was curious if there is a way to work the off-road lights off of those buttons. Out here in the sticks we park outside and I have 3 buttons with no purpose. It would be nice to use them for something and I wouldn't have to buy an aux panel to hook up the lights. Any ideas?

Those buttons are keyed to a low power radio transmitter. They won't work for lights. Any change to make them work would be more hassle than getting the Aux panel installed.

You can, Pilot makes a remote relay set up, I had one in my Ram and used my two extra homelink buttons to control my light bar and bed lights.

I can wire an entire house but when it comes to this RFI stuff I am lost as hell.
