I have 35 K02's and average low 16's in the winter, been getting closer to 18 since it's starting to warm up.

Darn, that’s the mileage? I drive a Ram 2500 Cummins, get on avg. to work and back via town roads 14.7 and was hoping to do better with the Glad Rubi I just ordered. Ahhh geez. Well, at least I’ll be able to have a better clearance rig for hunting.
Damn... My fully-deleted and custom tuned 2007 2500 4x4 6.7 Cummins with 20’s & 38’s averages like 17 around town, and about 20 Hwy...

No reset your computer on your jeep to recognize the 35" tires. Your speedo is off and not calculating your miles right. If you got 3:73 gears on 35's you should be somewhere around 14-15 average.
Thanks for the response. Any recommendations on a tuner?

I am glad to see the increase in tire size isn't making that much of a difference in gas mileage. I'm on stock 33 rubicons with 16 mpg. I will say though that a family in law member just bought a v8 ford f150 and they get 18 mpg city and 23 highway. It seems crazy to me that big thing gets better mpg than i do.

I feel the same way but hey he can't take his doors and top off that F150. I'm getting better than I thought I would though.

Yep same here. Manual, convertible, off road truck! Can't beat that.

Why am I only getting 12.8 mpg with toyo 35's??

We just bought Gladdy a week ago tonight. We've avg. 13.2 pulling a trailer from Idaho to Wa and back. Then once we hit Utah & Colorado; the huge mountain passes and highspeeds with the trailer (5x8 cargo) has dropped our avg. to 11.9 over the last 2315 mls as of tonight.

PS: Stock JTR.

Depends on speed. At 75 it's like 15.
I guess it depends on your setup as well and gearing and driving habits. I'm at 18.1 right now running winter gas, 70-78mph on the Hwy about 40% of the time on 35's. I was getting closer to 19 before December. Max Tow 4.10 gears.l, almost 18,000 miles.

18 mpg winter, 19 mpg summer. Thought that is pretty good. Better than my stock 2015 Z71 Colorado ever averaged.

6 MPG. 180 miles on the way back never made it past 4th gear. You can literally hear the slurping of gas guzzling. Made me thirsty.

So if I do the math... 6 mpg for the Jeep, say the trailer used up 6 mpg and then the trailered pick up 6 mpg. Add them all, looks like the average 18 mpg the rest of us usually see.
