So I'm in a Gladiator Sport S. 9500 miles. Love it so far. It's my 5th Jeep and I couldn't consider driving anything else. But this one thing is driving me nuts. EVERY time I accelerate or decelerate I can hear very loudly the fuel sloshing back and forth in my tank. At first I thought maybe there was water in the doors, or maybe even somewhere in the chassis. Popped the plugs, nothing drained. Took to the dealer and they told me that is was the fuel. The tank is under the passenger rails to its more prevalent that in the Wranglers. You can even hear it from the outside. It's pretty bad. Has anyone else experienced this with their Gladiators?

I doubt you're hearing fuel. Does it change cadence or sound as it gets full or more empty?

Thats seems far fetched that your hearing the fuel. That shouldnt be that loud. I cant hear mine even with the top off.

And as pointed out above it would also change depending on how much gas was in the tank.

Thats what i was thinking. I top that tank off and I STILL hear it. There is no way it's fuel. Gotta be water somewhere. Thanks for replying everyone. I have to bring it back to have them replace the inner door handle on the driver's side. I'll have them take another honest look and figure out what it is. Ya'll are the best!

It might be a little work, but pull off each door & shake it. Same with the freedom panels & grab a buddy & do the back roof section. Can probably all be done in about 30 minutes.

Out of curiosity, did you check your washer fluid? My first car had the washer fluid reservoir up near the firewall and it would slosh loudly when it got down to about a quarter tank. You could hear it inside and outside the vehicle.

I envy your ears. Too many rifles and concerts and jackhammers in my past.

Spitballing here, I am wondering if you have air trapped on the heater core side of your cooling system?

JK's had a inherent problem with heater core design sitting to high and a lot left the factory with a air pocket and not bled properly and a water sloshing or cascading sound could be herd. Solution IIRC was to jack the front end slightly higher and burp the coolant system. Have not heard it being a prevalent JL/JT problem though.

Good luck.
