I would like to have one in a diesel. Gator might not ever be available again but that is what I would want.

Gator is still out there, but it’s only 1:26 scale (~5.25” wheel base). Made by Welly - I found mine at a local Rite Aid Pharmacy. Not sure if this is a store in your neck of the country, but seems to be a popular display in many pharmacy toy aisles. These are loose on the shelf, no outer packaging. They have them in white, orange, blue and gator in this scale and blue and orange in a 1:35 scale (~3.5” wheel base) - that I have seen. The crocodile is from hobby lobby. Couldn’t find an alligator in green...

I know most gator owners, myself included, are hoping gator never comes back. I love how rare the color is! In 17 months of ownership, I’ve only seen three other gators in the wild. And all of them have been at Jeep events. One at Jeep Adventure Academy and Two at Easter Jeep Safari. One of them was the Teraflex Mojave.

So true. I love how I have seen almost no others, and if somebody thinks they saw mine, it was actually a gobi. Its cool, though sometimes I wish I could blend in just a bit more. To many people can practically track my location because of this thing.

it looks like silly putty kinda cool

Ones from Quadratec are the same color. As soon as I unpacked them I thought Silly Putty and Ken and Barbie flesh tone. Didn't match the Sahara leather at all.

My 6 year old got a Bass Pro Shops Gladiator play set from Santa. Yes it's kinda more Sarge Green, but we call it Gator in this household. My boy said it looks a lot like Daddy's truck so I'm good...ha.
