This hydro blue delay has me loosing hope for my September gator order

Hi everybody, been lurking for a while and trying to decide between Sting Grey, Gobi and Gator. After going to dealerships and looking at the other colors, then going through the 27 pages here, if the color most believe is pretty accurate, I am fully on board with Gator. I like the color shift it seems to do. I plan to put a deposit on a custom build and roll the dice. The only thing that makes me 2nd guess the color is this video with the gator paint code. If the touch-up paint is as dark as it looks in this video, I am not sure how it could be so light in most photos.

That video is not accurate. Gator is not a renamed bearl color

Everything I have seen image wise it was nowhere close. I just got worried when I look up the paint code and it comes up as that color. Is it common to rename the same paint codes instead of just making a new one?

gator should look just like the Wayout Concept, but until we actually see production ones, its anybodys guess.

Yes, it looks exactly like the pictures. Saw it and photographed and there was no difference I could tell.

Well I think our only chance for an on time Gator release may if FCA decided to just release the Gobi and Blue on OCT 10 with their matching hard tops. It's odd those were the only two colors with separate release dates for color matched hard tops.

I think we're grasping at straws with that one. But I sure hope it's true.

I cannot decide... Gator or Silver....

I'm willing to wait until end of september/early2mid october before i give up and just order silver... I really like both colours. silver looks like it might be slightly cooler in the heat. gator still looks awesome and I can wait a little bit longer

Decided to go with sting gray going to put order in on monday. maybe trade in for gator in a few years.

The silver now being "late availability" on the Jeep website builder gives me hope that they are starting to switch colors.
Again still grasping straws. unfortunately my back up color to gator is gobi or silver .


I'm over here with my down payment.....
