Any good reason not to o this way and spent the %500+ additional to get a new ecm and have it cloned?
Verify with GDE. Think you could just flash back to stock.

Real world turnaround times once GDE received it, I'm on NV.
GDE is same day. You choose shipping to and from.

Can I use this with the Tazer?
Per Banks No. Some members say it does. Mine does not. May hay have something to do with using the Live functions on Tazer.

I don't think it has to do with the live functions. I use the live functions with no issues and have the Pedal Monster, Derringer, iDASH (Classic), Tazer & No Limitz and have no issues. It appears the issue is with the new iDASH Pro model. I don't think anyone with the classic model has any issues.

Banks iDash Classic DataMonster - Model 66760

vs

Banks iDash Pro & iDash Data Pro - Model IDASHl

FWIW. I did talk to Banks. They say Classic or Pro doesn’t matter. Neither should work with another active device on the same network. IDash will show a malfunction. Functionality/Accuracy is compromised.

Maybe the best thing to do… If you have a Tazer that you want to use with an IDash. Call Banks and discuss before purchasing.

I thought I could too.

Possibly another item GDE fixed.
I’ve posted before about becoming a victim of the camshaft position sensor after installing the PSC electric steering pump. My fix was as others have posted, don’t turn the steering wheel within the first few seconds of start up. It worked, when I remembered.
With GDE I continued the process. Forgetting occasionally. No code popped up. The last few days I’ve been doing a lot of short trips around the house. So I intentionally started testing. Start and steer.
No Codes popped up!

The GDE tune fixed my camshaft position sensor! Amazing. lol Thinking it’s a cleaner, less traffic on the smart system kinda fixed. Hope it stays. Fingers
Crossed.

FYI. The PSC pump is internally set @1800psi vs the factory 1400 plus variable psi. Per PSC.

Wonder if GDE could change the psi in the ECM instead of buying a new pump? That would pay for the tune! They change the battery float charge voltage.
I’ll ask tomorrow.

On the IDash. What PID are you using for the following:
Boost
EGT
With my new IDash education I see a few different ways for each possible.
Thanks

With the Apex power steering kit. You manually adjust the pressure on the pump. Don't think that it can be done inside the ecu.

I started with the Apex. PSC says they change pressure with Re-mapping. Sounds electronic. I’m just saying maybe in the ECM.

I was kind of wondering about that too, what exactly PSC meant by mapping. It sounded kind of like a marketing gimmick at the time so I went with the Apex kit with the rest of the PSC setup. However, the steering still goes dead if I try to reverse steering direction quick enough. It's done that since new and I've wondered if the PSC pump would fix that.

On the flip side, I've never thrown a code related to steering, camshaft sensor, or anything else really unless it was a direct result of my own action (water on the MAF sensor, loose water separator drain)

After running the new GDE tune for a week or so the only thing I'm missing is the manual idle adjustment the MRT tune has. That is a nice feature.

The software is mapped directly to the PCS EPS Pump Controller.
