Could you please share how much was Costco discount over the invoice?
MSRP - 61,175
Costco Savings - 750
manufacturer discount - 500
Member Price- 59,925 including any dealer installed items
Doc Fee -995

The including dealer-installed items seemed to be the biggest saving as most of the dealers I talked to here in south Florida had all kinds of bogus bs installed window VIN etching, nitro fill, etc..

I agreed to the price then they came out and hit me with the 2k dealer fee. I said I've never paid MSRP for a vehicle in my life and I won't be able to sleep if I do

I then had them adjust the total price to 60,237.89 which did not include tax or tag. My Total out the door price with tax and tag came out to $65,100

The Costco pricing was a great setup to walk through the door with. It removed a lot of the BS and gave a better bargaining position IMO.

The above was 6/11 at Delray Jeep.
I had a slightly better price by about $500 worked out at Arrigo West Palm for a White Rubicon but I was pretty set on Sting Gray

Hope this is helpful!

I'm not sure how ordering works, but you have to work hard to get to that below invoice cost level right now. I just bought mine a couple weeks ago, a fairly tricked out Willys package.
MSRP: $49,900
Invoice: $47,500
My Price: $43,900

So I made it to about 8% below invoice, and somewhere around 12% MSRP by running my numbers through the spreadsheet. But the kicker is this, in my willingness to travel (Minnesota at least) I found one dealer, out of all the dealers, with this kind of pricing, and that was doing my shopping basically since December. How did I get here?

1. It was dealer stock. Again, I don't know how ordering works, but I have to imagine they'll hold out right now with shortages and whatnot.
2. I financed with the dealer. Paying cash, or bringing your own financing is not the way to handle car buying anymore. They get incentives back from the banks they solicit on your behalf. And they don't care how much money down you put because they get paid all of it one way or another if you finance through them.
3. I went prepared with every option on the vehicle I wanted, and also - a little trick from the trade, paid attention to their website the day I traveled to see if any vehicles cheaper than the one I wanted were listed as "in-transit". That's the vehicle I go there for, because hopefully they don't have it.
4. Last thing, not all dealerships are the same, but some of them are non-commissioned sales people. I find it much easier to get what I want from them, because they rely very heavily on dealer ratings, and surveys to earn their incentives. You can absolutely use that to your advantage, like "take that last $1000 off and I'll give you all 10s no questions asked" kind of thing.

Anyway. I'd still maintain it's going to be difficult to hit high percentages below invoice right now with the way things are. But it looks like a couple dealerships out there are hitting it. I would just say do lots of research, and if you can jump on dealer stock that's optioned out the way you want I definitely would go that route.

Check out SLC valley Jeep talk to Elliot. He got me 8% off invoice on my Sport S Ecodiesel. 46590 was my invoice. Good guy hustled for me. Worth a try besides it's not to far in reality. A few other forum members purchased from him I believe.

I may just have to order with Gupton. Even recommended dealers are giving me the I can't take anything off invoice. "These cars are hard to get right now"

Yeah so hard to get with thousands sitting on lots.

Gupton did me good. MSRP was $59,820 and sale price was $51,908. Simple process and came in faster than I could get there.

I appreciate that info. That's probably where I'm headed to asap.

Anyone heard from Gupton recently? I reached out recently but haven’t heard anything back. Ready to pull the trigger on a Sport S Max Tow all packages if I can get these 6/8% below invoice.

Sorry, another post. Did Gupton do 8% off factory order or only off on lot / in stock inventory?

They do the 8% off only on a customer order 6%off invoice standard.. then the 1% fca control number and 1% finance through dealer

Fantastic news. Decent rates on the finance or high rates to keep price low?

I was given 2.79% on 72 month which is pretty decent… I think I have read others getting that rate too
