That's some hard core camping!! What kind of heater?
aha really was . Fun experience and used the camper for my intended purposes for winter and switching back to tent camping in summer.

I had a really small electric heater that weights 5lbs tops 750w low with my 1500x goal zero.

There was electric hookup where we stayed also. Year round campground. Recommend it

Also carried a Dewalt propane heater (looks like mr.buddy) as an emergency backup given the iffy conditions. Ordering my diesel heater setup and going to try and figure out where to hook it up next week.

Here's a simple interior layout for a Ford Ranger, which would work well with any short bed pickup. I like how light and simple it is. It would also work well in a Gladiator.

Alu-cab has a promising new product. It would be nice if they added a bump-out to the tent.

I noticed this online yesterday. Still waiting for details but based on this graphic from the OK4wd website it appears they will have a way to sleep 4. I assume that means on two levels not a fold out tent. It will be interesting to see what is involved with removing the tent and filler kit and replacing it with the roof. It's not clear to me if that level of modularity is its purpose or if it's just streaming manufacturing and shipping flat pieces.

These Kaymar and JCR bumpers are making me drool. I could buy a used CJ7 for the price of these and a full size spare :(

I've really appreciated my JCR bumpers and tire carrier on my 05 LJ, after 7ish years my tire carrier is squeak free and have held up to countless recoveries. Very well built. Part of the squeak free is the pivot (which is identical to the above) is easy to service and grease. Not saying it's worth the $$ on the JT, but it'd be top of my list from my experience with their stuff. Also I love and have used the hi-lift jack points they put in their armor, so secure.

Dan's talking about his pop-top ideas. His concept below would be pretty cool.

I assume the price is in the "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" category...? Never a good sign when you have to email for a price quote. But definitely looks interesting, thanks for the link

Ursa Minor is still flirting with a Gladiator offering, although it took them a long time to do the Bronco so who knows if this is just vaporware. On their JL page:

We will offer a J30 version for the Jeep Gladiator Truck, but that will be a completely new product pre-order page, and based on how long the JL took...it may be a while before we take orders.
