Two things I hate about my Gladiator when camping!!

1) The headlights turn on every time I open a door. This will really piss off those nice tent campers next to you in the middle of the night.

2) The damn horn sounds every time I lock my truck. Those poor campers are really upset at me now.

Solution: I don’t know why I waited so long to fix these problems. All you have to do is go into settings and turn off the horn when you lock the door and change the proximity lights to “0” and all is fixed!!

Sorry to those of you who I’ve woken up😬
Thank you for this Public Service Announcement. More campers need to see this.

Now that I have done the rear seat delete I'm ready to add a fridge. The choices are a bit overwhelming and the price swings are as well. What has everyone used, liked and what should I avoid? I need to get on the move, leaving the 17th for a 2-week trip out West.
Thanks in advance for all recommendations.

I have a Iceco VL60D No complaints, no issues whatsoever. All depends on how fast off grid you'll be.

What do you mean by how fast of grid? Shipping time? Cool down time?

I was looking at ARB and Dometic but the Iceco products look good too!

I love my Iceco JP42 but it’s no longer available. It’s nice because it a fridge or freezer or a highly insulated cooler.

I think this will work out great. I can keep my food in the ICECO with just a few drinks and keep the rest of the fluids in the ice chest in the bed. Can also keep snacks and sandwich stuff in the cab so my wife can feed us without me having to dig to the front of the bed and down in the ice chest for food, water, etc.

Alright, let's see some campers for the Gladiator! Posted are examples of Jeep Gladiator campers and other ideas.

Follow along my journey as I build my own Pop Top Camper, pictured below! Thanks to everyone in this forum for their thoughts, ideas, contributions, and most importantly their inspiration, as I make an idea come true.

If you love Gladiators, grab some coffee and enjoy.

So here's the easiest way to power a fridge so you don't have to worry about the truck's battery. If you have a built in 120v outlet in your truck, just plug in a power supply to this. Then plug your fridge into the power supply. The truck charges the power supply only when the truck is running. Then the power supply runs the fridge continuously. As long as I run or drive the truck about 30 minutes a day, this seems to keep the power supply charged and fridge running continuously.
