For a true camper like the all cab, the vertical door seems appropriate. I’m somewhat on the fence but also not really lol. I like the concept, I like the privacy and security of it, but I hate the fact that you can no longer use your gladiator to haul stuff like mulch.
I definitely like the ability to pull out my furniture and use the pickup bed.

I also like the ability to hose out the bed since it's going to get pretty messed up, since it's deer season.

Ran into the Ken Block #43 tribute Jeep returning home to Maine from SEMA show. Cool Jeep!

I can't seem to stop at a gas station without bumping into another Jeep lover.

This is the owner's 12th build and he put over $90K of aftermarket parts on this beast.

Why doesn't he save me the trouble, and just climb in the back of the Gladiator!?

I didn't get these two, but I've already got venison in the freezer this season.

Wow, pretty sure you couldn’t buy the materials for that cheap let alone the time/hassle to make it!
hi all… i bought one of these for the back of my Jk and put it on rails to be removable. Quite impressed with the quality and paired with a Dometic go faucet it works great.

Pics of the rig from this past weekends camping trip. Diesel heater FTW.

That Diesel Heater would sure come in handy this morning at deer camp! I’m running my truck’s heater to warm up this morning.

It's a beautiful day to go hunting. I took a Buck last weekend and a doe this morning. I added a few more limb scratches to the camper also.

@Blitzinger, thanks for the info on the Vevor Diesel heater.

I'm thinking about using a Vevor 5KW heater, mounted in the back of the Gladiator. There is already a hole in the back sidewall of the bed. I'm already using one of these for my sink drain. I want to route the exhaust of the Vevor through the other one of these holes at the back. It would be placed where the fridge is in my picture below. The location is nice since I can refill the Vevor's diesel by standing by the tail gate. What is the diameter of the exhaust tube on the Vevor? Any concerns about mounting it inside the camper? I'd install a CO detector.

Hey @Mules

What is the diameter of the exhaust tube on the Vevor? 3". I got a dryer hose to extend distance as I keep mine outside. I got this:
Hon&Guan 3 inch 16 FT Long Air Ducting, Heavy-Duty Four-Layer Protection Dryer Vent Hose for Heating Cooling Ventilation and Exhaust-with 2 Clamps, Black https://a.co/d/0uDsZS9

Any concerns about mounting it inside the camper? Yes, not only carbon dioxide but somewhat of a fire hazard. I left mine on ground outside. At the very least, maybe consider getting one of those tables that mounts to your tire for it to rest on.

Lastly. My vevor unit just came with cables to attach to a battery. We got the 12v kit to plug into my ecoflow portable battery. Initial pull is like 300w but once at temp, it pulls only 11-12w so you should be good through the night. The one gallon of diesel it holds on medium setting lasted me 12+ hours.

here’s the 12v kit: 12V 15A Heavy Duty Male to Male Cigarette Lighter Plug Charger Cord With LED Lights And Fuse Protection On Both Plugs https://a.co/d/e4elVQg

Thanks for the info.

Sorry I meant the burner exhaust diameter. I’m guessing since you run yours outside you don’t need the exhaust pipe and muffler. No worries, I think it’s 2.5cm diameter.

I've been looking at this one. Seem like it gets good reviews and have seen several on here recommend it.

I like compact size, and ease of moving it around.

So my setup is under the bench seat. Not quite completed yet. But I have the heater intake stubbed through the wall of the bench unobstructed. The air intake for the heater for ignition was ran through the wall right where the bed light was. I bought a bed light from eBay butchered it and ran it to the back side of the wheel well. The exhaust port is ran through the bed hole(bored out to 1 3/8 using step drill) it will then be ran out and through to the bumper with a hole there for the exhaust.
