This thing is the swiss army knife of toilets! Bag it, compost it, or liquid chemical.

I bought a GottaGo in the first run. It took a while to get it because they noticed a flaw and pulled stock back to make sure they were sending quality gear. I'm very impressed with ingenuity of the design. I have both options but have only used the bags thus far, not chem or compost. No reason why those won't work just as well.

I'm 6'2 and 220lbs. Is it big enough?

I’m only 5’9” so I can’t speak to the height necessarily but it’ll take your weight. I’m in a Joolca Facebook group and don’t recall height being an issue for anyone. It’s a similar size to other camp toilets, if not a little bigger.

What I use. And a 5 gallon bucket with kitty litter in the bottom and a couple trash bags.

Nice. Even has a cup holder and a magazine tray, so you can take a nice leisurely dump. Ha ha.

Beautiful day for a little trip to the river this morning. It was still pretty slippery on the hills due to all the leaves on top of the mud. The diff locks worked great climbing up the slick hills.

After mountain biking and 4 wheeling this weekend in 20-40 deg. F weather I'm reminded of something. Driving or riding on 20 deg. frozen ground is great, right up until it thaws! The dirt trails got pretty muddy/slippery when the temps climbed to 40 deg. later in the day. 😬

Broken door strap check:

So on a cold day a couple weeks ago my driver door only openned a couple inches. I forced it open thinking it was only ice and I heard a crack. Looks like the door strap tensioner shot craps. Now it works like crap.

I ordered a new one for $17, but the install requires I take the door apart and looks like a bear of a job. I asked on line if I could just disconnect the front bolt, and the response was "YES".

This door strap check (tensioner) was only recently added to Jeeps, JL's and JT's. It looks like a lot of Jeep owners get tired of connecting and disconnecting each time they take the doors on and off, so they simply disconnect the front bolt.

I disconnected the bolt and EUREKA, it works fine.

About 25 deg. F this morning and the diesel heater kept me toasty warm all night.

Just like camping at home!

Missouri was hit pretty hard last Friday by tornadoes. A tornado barely missed my home, but it managed to take out electricity, internet, and cell phone coverage for thousands of households, including mime.

5 gallons of gas, a generator, electric power supply, and our fireplace kept our family going for a few cold days without power.

I was at Jasper Jeep Jam in Jasper, AR during these storms. Sirens did go off for a while, so it was a little sketch for a bit but luckily no 'nados, but we had some crazy winds, lightening, hail, and rain. No place to really go for solid cover, it was either tin buildings or vehicles.

Here are the paths of the tornadoes through Missouri last Friday.
