Retired. Finally !!
To me, it definitely sounds like the synchro ring snapped. When I was 15 my 2nd gear on my 1954 Willys kept popping out; I had to hold it in gear until I could drop it in 3rd. My Dad told me what was wrong, I had to mail order the part (yeah, I'm old). It took about 2 weeks to show up.

When the ring came in, I stared at it. My Dad simply said, "Take the tranny out, open it up. You'll see the broken ring, take the tranny apart and replace it.". THAT was as far as my training went.

I did it.

If an untrained teenager can fix it, you KNOW the dealer can !! Granted, mine was a simple 3 speed, but Jeep has trained mechanics with factory tools and equipment. I had a toolbox and a need to get my Willys back. Not even a repair manual.

You waiting 76 days is beyond reason.

I think it's all based on human nature. They have a row of vehicles needing repair. There's yours, but then there are easier jobs also, just sitting there. They tackle those first because it's easier. You KNOW the mechanics are walking by it saying, "Yeah, I don't feel like tackling THAT today...." and keep walking and tackle the Jeep with the bad infotainment system screen or some such.

Sounds like you are pretty close to having it back. I would give it a couple more weeks before going all out on Lemon Law. Once you start that, good chance they will just stop and push it aside to let that play out even if parts have arrived.

You are entitled to your frustrations regardless.

This close to the end I’d skip the lemon law as well. I would however put a very nice little letter into BBB or an Attorney General about a certain business. Wait until you get it back. They get notified of negative feedback fairly quickly.

Lemon Law really does not work like that. The key is to continue to work with the dealer, do not mention to them that you are in contact with a lawyer, they will never know. The dealer has no skin in the game when it comes to lemon law issues. The case is handled entirely by Stellantis. Stellantis has a whole department of lawyers that just deal with these cases. Whether the case is won or lost, the dealer takes no loss. The case is handled entirely by Stellantis who are the only financially liable party. To this day, the dealership I take my vehicle to, has no idea that my vehicle and I were involved in a settlement. My warranty is still intact and my vehicle is not branded as a lemon. The best cases are those that occur before 18,000 miles or 18 months in California as in that time frame the vehicle has a presumption of being a lemon when the criteria for days in shop or repair attempts are met. I have never been a lentiginous person, and this was in fact the first time I have ever worked with a lawyer, but until Stellantis improves quality, parts availability, and pressures dealers to provide better service, I think they will reap what they sow. Stellantis charges a premium price for these Gladiators, in return I expect a premium product and service experience.

I took my gladiator to Bravo Jeep in Alhambra, CA. I have a manual gladiator, while in second gear at low speeds, below 10mph and especially under load like turning or going up or down a hill, it would pop out of 2nd gear. At first it would happen maybe once every 2 months for the last year, however because it was so random and I could never replicate it, the dealership said everything was normal. But about 4 months ago it’s started happening every time I drove the jeep, it pops out of second gear. My jeep has 28k miles, it’s still under powertrain warranty.

I have called bravo Jeep every week for the last 75 days, thats how long the Jeep has been at the dealership. I was told 30 days ago that the transmission was going to be rebuilt at the dealership, and 10 days ago was told that Jeep now wants the manual transmission to be replaced, that a new manual transmission had been ordered and was already on the way, and that everything will be covered under warranty. But now i can no longer get anyone on the phone. I leave messages with the person who answers the phone, and they promise someone will call me in 10 minutes and no one ever calls me back.

At this point I’m not sure what to do. And this situation has become frustrating. No rental car, I haven’t had the jeep all summer. Missed all my trips planned for the summer. Missed my rubicon trip, will probably miss my Utah trip I had planned for the end of the month.

Jeepcares if you are out there, would appreciate some help.

Time to show up in person.
I would agree. Also, I would reach out to another dealership and explain the issue to them. If another dealership can gain trust and future business from a potential customer that would be a plus for them. Plus, a black mark against the dealership you are currently dealing with, especially when initiated from a different dealership, will get the attention of the dealership brass. The best of luck to you and I hope you can have your rig back in time to make some memories this summer.

@JeepCares , My 2021 Gladiator Mojave has been at the dealer (Bonmin Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in Doral, Florida) since April for "corrosion repair under warranty"!! The only parts affected were the hood hinges and the bottom of the tailgate but they said they changed out all the door hinges as well. They called me in early June to pick up the Gladiator but (although the car was dirty as hell) you could tell that the paint on the tailgate and the driver's front door were darker than the rest of the vehicle. I could not get an explanation from anyone as to why that door was painted. Although the hood hinges looked new, they reused the rusted bolts from the old hinges!
I returned the vehicle to them with the described complaints and to this day, the work has not been preformed.
I have had a courtesy vehicle the whole time but regardless of that, the lack of quality work on what's arguably one of the "top of the line" Jeep models is astounding! The total disregard for client satisfaction is extreme!
Four months and counting for a job that would have been done properly in 5 days work max at any good paint shop.
These are the experiences that turn Jeep lovers like me into Jeep haters and will definitely push me toward Toyota, Lexus, Ineos, Land Rover, etc, sooner than later.
Sad and unfortunate.
