I'm going to pick up some take off JL (sahara) or JT (overland) 18" factory wheels to run the 37x11.5r18 nitto ridge grapplers next. Sounds like that would fit your goals best. I'm running falken 37x12.5 mt's on stock sport wheels and love it, but like you i feel they are a touch fat for the stock wheel, but they don't make 11.5" wide 17's, 18 and 20" they do, black rhino mozambique would be my aftermarket choice for a 20", hope that helps and yes, you'd be fine with 5-6" bs, likely best around 5.5", i believe that mozambique is 5.9", pretty lightweight wheel that looks good too, silver one all the way, stay classySo what wheel would allow the tire to have minimal poking of my 35x12.5x17 tires outside the Rubicon fender flares? My current setup is perfect on the factory wheels but I am starting to wonder how much weight the “excess wear” has on the tires from being on factory rims. I would essentially be wanting 9.5” wide wheels and +5.5 to +6 backspacing?
