Mine showed up on the tracking yesterday, ordered 10/26 and modified 10/28 (added advanced safety). Was told ship date of 11/17 but was probably the build date as it is now at JB as of 11/18:

Correct - if it's scheduled to be built, D1 according to dealer, and they say "ship date xx/xx" then that ship date is actually the date it's set to be built. The dealer told me the ship date, not chat - all they would say to me was D1 - they'd not say one word more. I got more out of my dealer. But I realized that so-called ship date was waay too close to the current date, and it was - when it's in D1 the ship date is the date it goes to production in every case I've seen so far.
If you are in D1 now and was told a ship date of 11/21 for example, then it will start the build process on the 21st.
IF all goes well it may actually be ready to ship the next week (mine was about a week from the "ship date" which is when it started production to the time it was loaded on a truck)

How did you get the 'ship date' at D1? Jeep Chat tells me I am at D1 but does not provide any additional info. Am I not asking the right questions?

Jeep Chat actually wont talk to me because I’m Canadian... My dealer was able to provide the information.


On another note, how long did people have to wait after having the Build Sheet and Window Sticker generated? I’ve got both now and trying not to get to excited :D

I ordered mine 10/17. I believe it was around the 19th he said the order was accepted. The next Monday as I recall he said it was D1 with a ship date of 11/04 which I now know is the projected BUILD start date. That ended up being fact as the dealer told me that it did indeed go into production then.
Build sheet was somewhere around 11/06. Window sticker came through on the 9th, dealer told me on the following Monday, 11/11 that it had been loaded on a truck and leaving Toledo on 11/10, the Sunday night before.
It landed at the dealership on Tuesday, 11/12 and I picked it up that evening.
But since no one seems to want Overland, I may have gotten one they had already started on and it was just waiting for someone to buy it so they could finish it.......

Thanks all. I may not have made it clear that I also concluded that the 'ship' date is more the start build date than an actual deliver to the customer date. I will contct my dealer to see if he has the 'ship' date to share.

Dealers are privy to a lot on that system from what I gather - bet he/she can help - just a nice question will find out.

The Priced Order Confirmation (POC) from the dealer showed the estimated ship date of 11/17/19.

That doesn’t sound right unless something went really south.
Mines been stuck in JB (Body Vendor) for 6 days now. You would think that once the Bed Liner was done they would load it up and get it shipped but that’s not how they work. Logic does not and will not apply at this stage. My dealer has only 3 so, so Gladiators on his lot. Their other location further south by 30 miles has them moving (so I’m told). So if the southern dealer is getting them on a regular basis (whatever that is) then my dealer, 30 miles north should have the odd 1 or 2 as well. NOPE! Not so. So I sit here and wait and wait and.....

I was in it for 23 days, currently in shipping now. Another guy on here was in it for 30.

Spoke with jeepcares this morning... they told be my sport gladiator in gator has been built and is awaiting package instillation, so I’m guessing the bed liner, auxiliary switches and max tow? What’s everyone been seeing for delivery time from this point? Nothing on the tracker yet though.

It is only waiting on the spray in bed liner that is done by a third party contractor. The AUX switches and MAX Tow are done in concurrence in manufacturing assembly and are not a after assembly installation.
