Are you guys tracking your orders on this website or through Jeep chat?

And how does this website track orders? Do they have access to Jeep's ordering system?
I'm tracking on here for now. I'm sure it's still too soon for Jeep Chat, but I may try that in a week or so.

Around thanksgiving I checked with jeep chat and was told they had all parts for my vehicle, just waiting to be built, monday 12/6 my dealer called me with the same info. I just checked again with jeep chat and my truck is built, waiting for inspection, then on to vender for options. Jeep chat still can not give me an estamated ship date.

*Sigh* Ordered my Sport S on 11/18 and told myself I'll be patient. I can wait, no big deal....
But I keep checking like a crazy man everyday. Not even in build stage yet.
Do I have newjeepitis?
I ordered mine on 11/17. I end up texting my sales rep once a week for an update. Is the jeep chat just like the chat on the Jeep webpage? This is my first Jeep and first built vehicle so I am beyond excited.

So I'm one of the poor bastards that went from D1 back to D status. Totally depressing when I found out two weeks ago. This is what I got from my sales guy at Tri-City Motors today:

"There does not appear to be any movement on your order from the last time we spoke. Looking over your build, there are several aspects that are likely causing the delay (Dual Doors, Manual Transmission, Gorilla Glass, both Safety Groups, etc). This is going to make for an awesome Jeep; however, with so many different options, this is the likely reason for the delay.

What I'm saying is, while it is taking slightly longer than expected, remember you are getting the Jeep exactly the way you want it. You have been patient & I appreciate that. As soon as I see movement on your build from my end, I'll be sure to let you know expeditiously. "

:(:( Needless to say---not good news at all. Especially as I see others getting their manual transmission, GGlass, and safety feature trucks. While I'd like to be just mad about it, that's ridiculous due to all the shortages, shipping issues to the factory, and the shipping from the factory.

My guess is my issue is having ordered both safety packages and/or the dual door group. I purposely didn't get bed liner, floor mats. And of course now I'm very much regretting the $190 spent on the GGlass based on other forum topics and not understanding the GGlass is on the inside.

So I keep telling myself that it's just more opportunity to save for parts.

As for you guys that have movement or have received your Gladiators, know that when I say, "I hate it you." it is said totally with love :lipssealed::beer:

Hey KX, when did you order? I just ordered last week (Sport S, diesel) and did choose the GGlass option as I figured a couple hundred bucks was good insurance...I hope.

Hey, not only are we the only two in Texas on the tracker, but both Covert!
I live in the Waco area, but my son-in-law in Austin has connections with Covert so I ordered with them. Small world.

That's cool, who are you dealing with there?

.... I got an email this morning from cryptosticker.net indicating the build sheet AND 'Sticker' were available (I can now see the Sticker via VIN query online so that's good!!).

I'm about to contact jeep-chat and see what they say. I'd just traded email with my dealer yesterday and he told me that as far as he could tell I was still on schedule for a 12/15 ship date but no insight into what stage of the build process it might have been at.

So, progress it seems.

I'm going to join y'all's club. I ordered from Covert on 12/4 and they said they wouldn't submit the order until 12/7. I contacted Jeep Chat on 12/9 to confirm the order had been accepted and got my VIN. Covert told me to expect a 70-90 day wait, so I promised myself I wouldn't start bugging them for status updates for at least two weeks, which is almost up.

Mojave: bed liner, both safety, gorilla glass, cold weather, aux switch, tow, 8.4 Uconnect, Black freedom hard top with headliner
