I was one of those whose JT was built and sat for two months at the shipping lot while those orders placed after mine were built and delivered. Mine had no safety features and no LED's. It did get aux switches, front camera, 8.4 radio, tow package, gorilla glass, slush mats, trail rail, mud tires, cold weather group with cloth, body color fenders with black hard top. Nothing really special for the most part I don't think. I can't speak of the programmed modues for specific models especially for LED's since I did not get those although I will be putting them after the fact. That is the biggest regret that I have had thus far is not opting for LED and the steel front bumper.
Me too. My JTR was finished on 4/11 and it's just sitting there collecting dust (see attachment). How can they make any money? Maybe the dealers pay up when its invoiced. This is from my sales guy and he said there are three more that are just sitting on the Toledo lot.

Like I said in my reply to ShadowsPapa, it's amazing that Jeep makes any money at all. Maybe because they are so overpriced. I will say that a neighbor ordered a Bronco last summer and has nothing yet.
i ordered on 4/5 andlast Thursday jeep
yeah. I'm hoping for the 28th. I think chat is good for the build process, but after that they are unreliable. @Chonkyrubi I'm in east Idaho, ordered 01/31. I'm in transit right now, I think there's a good chance yours in on rail with mine.
i ordered on 4/5 andlast Thursday it was still said scheduled by jeep chat. This Tuesday it said in paint. Two days later, today said build was complete.

Ordered 5/2 - still at D, not scheduled. Guess my dealer is at the bottom of their stack of dealers. It would be nice if it was at least scheduled, but not scheduled apparently means they can't schedule it because they ran out of parts, or blue paint is on back order with no ETA.
It's not having any idea of any schedule that is weird. 17 days with no schedule to even start means they are not able to find all of the pieces.

Just found this on a mothomatics blog

Alphabetical Build Scheduling

A newly developed model concludes that Jeep Gladiators are scheduled for build dates alphabetically, based on each customer's name.
The so-called Analytical Possession Repression Order Decoder ("ANAL-PROD") uses cutting edge statistical techniques to suggest that FCA starts with the letter "A" on each January 1st. From there, the system is complex.
"It's not intuitive, it's alphametrical" reveals secretive ANALPROD CEO "SN". "It's based on the standard conceal-reveal protocol with extensive modification. For example, the letter 'S' is allocated two full days each cycle due to the number of Smith's and the like placing orders. Some common letters receive two days of production each quarter, but rare letter pairs such as Q & U are produced on the same day."
According to SN the greatest challenge was factoring in non-production days and Holidays. "If they're not operating, they simply skip the scheduled production letter until it comes comes up again in the next cycle".
So does every customer have an optimal order date based on their first and last names? We asked SN: "Yes, but some names are more problematic than others. Let's just say I wouldn't expect to see Willy Wonka in a new Gladiator anytime soon."
When pressed as to the value of the new model, SN became thoughtful. "We hope everyone subscribes of course. Otherwise, customers should just assume that the build date is random and take comfort in the fact that there is an underlying order to it all".
According to SN, early subscribers will get a free upgrade to a forthcoming companion module which decodes vehicle delivery dates. "We're hard at work on the algorithms. We call it the Delivery Intervention Catch & Keep Utility. “
DICKU takes up where ANALPROD leaves off, and SN claims they have isolated most of the variables. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. It's a lot darker and more personal than we ever suspected".

Looks like my fully loaded JTRD (minus smokers package, floor mats, bed liner) has been built yesterday and awaiting transportation. (Ordered April 15th)

So looks like there are no parts shortages.

Could be a shortage of mats, bed liner or people..... mine still isn't scheduled.

When Jeep chat says Scheduled for production does that mean D or D1?

Ordered on 5/3.

My Rubicon arrived in Salt Lake City yesterday. 1 week total time in shipping. 6 weeks build time including spray in bed liner. 7 weeks total so far. Expecting it to be ready at the dealer by mid-week.
I told you, you were probably on the same rail as me! ;)
