You can coat them pretty easily. Wheel
Paint has come a LoNG way from what it once was. It’ll get scratched up on the trail but it’s no big deal to do some touch up. Either that or tintable bedliner and a good roller.
I’m going to start with polishing to see how I like it. I really appreciate the suggestion of if I want something different. Nice to know there are cost effective options.

True but out here it’s just one more thing to worry about. Whenever I eventually get the scratch for it my next set of wheels will be something like the Method 700 series with the beadgrip tech stuff on em. I like that functionality over a true bead lock.
Even better than the Method's bead grip wheels are Icon's Inner Air Lock wheels. I've had these Rebound Pros 17 for 3-4 years now and they've worked perfectly aired down as low as 3psi on snow runs. 17x8.5 with 4.5" backspace (a.k.a. -6mm for you communists) with 37x12.50R17 Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003.

I’ve never heard of those before. I’ll have to check them out. :like:

I was really hoping someone found that style of wheel in an 8-9.5” width for 37x12.5 to fit on safely. People say you can do 12.5 on a 7.5 wheel, but I don’t trust it in the rocks with sidewall crawls and all that. Just asking to play with your beads in public. :giggle:
I agree, this would be even better in 8+. However, don't they call 12.5" tires on 7.5" rims the "poorman's beadlock" for a reason? It's less likely to debead in aired down scenarios, crawling scenarios. Not as good in cornering debeads, and overall wear and performance though.

Rocking the OEM+ look:
2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon Wheels 17x8
Offset: +12mm
Backspacing: 4.4 inches
Falken Wildpeak AT4W 37x12.5
Mopar 2 inch lift w/Bilstein dual res shocks
I see these on marketplace sometimes, usually overpriced for a takeoff. Other than a lift, did you do anything to make them work without rubbing at all, at full articulation and disconnect too?

I ran Oem wheels with 37 12.5s for quite a while. Not a single issue.

"stock" 17" METHOD 305NV - Death Valley patina gives a nice contrast to read the tire brand :) Tires are stock size.

First time posting any pics, but I just got done doing the 2.5" Ready lift leveling lift. 2020 Rubicon 35" tires on 20x9 Procomp wheels 0mm offset 4.5"bs. I was going to do a -12mm offset but seeing the Rubicon had wider axles than the non Rubicon jeep I have, the 0mm poke is perfect for what I wanted. Could easily clear a 37" tire if I go that route in the future.
