I’m surprised I haven’t found any locking compartments for underneath the rear seat yet. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time though.

My Rubicon came with locking storage under the rear seats! It was a factory direct option.

A great concept, until your airbag deploys, then it’s not. I would stay away from anything like this.

I found one. I was just thinking about it and I wanted to get 2 but if I do that it would block out the bed lights.

My storage solution:

Moabite, great work on the flat floor! Looks like you were able to pretty closely match the carpet (no off-color jokes, please). Is it 3/4" plywood? What carpet did you use to cover it? Does it flip up?

I made the floor out of materials I already had. I didn't measure the plywood but I think it is 1/2"...with some 1x4 bracing. It's plenty sturdy. It does not flip up. I have no need for it to do so but you could certainly build it that way or put doors in it like I had in the JK floor. Pictures of the storage box. The install is not completed. Still have to bolt it to the front tie down hooks and run the power wires to the battery. But this shows how it will look and function. The two round black circles on the back of the box are power outlets for a refrigerator or other 12 volt needs.

I like your ARB Twin Compressor location. I may go with something similar.

I’m also thinking of mounting it under a diamondback tonneau cover, if I get one.

This doesn't do a ton, but just installed this Undercover bed box. Super nice and rotates out and locks.

Just got my JT Rubicon this past week. Coming from an Avalanche and I really miss the saddle bags for storage. In the next month or so (when I have some cash again ) a pair of these are on my short list. Looks like I will need to rig up some LED strip lights to the cargo light circuit.
