Crazy question as this is the Gladiator forum, but has anyone ordered a Jeep from them that's not a Gladiator? Same discount formula on a Grand Cherokee?

Not sure the formula, but I think I remember Renee say they offer similar discounts on other models. Just ask her or Daniel, they're very helpful/nice people.

Was the price similar to the website?
The quote started at 'standard order pricing below factory invoice' the website shows MSRP, but it all matched up. There was an FCA price increase after my order and Daniel honored the order price as I already paid the deposit. So my final delivery sticker price showed around an additional $2,000 more than when I originally priced on Jeep.com... nice!

Many thanks to everyone on the forum that have shared the good, bad, and ugly of JT experiences. It’s because of ya’ll that I ordered from Gupton and could justify purchasing the exact Jeep and options I wanted. Yes, the Diesel may have issues, but I purchased eyes wide open. For me towing a 3,000-pound trailer up and down 12K foot mountain passes was a no-brainer.
JTRD ordered 1/3, delivered 2/11, pick-up 2/21.

Here’s a recap of the delivery and 1,200-mile drive home experience.
Got a complimentary pick-up from the airport, Maynar was on-time for the 40-minute ride to the dealership.

Service
I arranged to have the Mopar lift to be installed at Gupton (local dealer quotes were between $800-$1,200 more). It was a short turnaround time from the request (4 days) and the Jeep was ready as promised. Check for any Mopar discount coupons on their website, I asked in advance and was able to apply the 15%/max.$200 off Mopar accessories.

Paperwork
Renee was ready and had all the ducks lined up. Val in finance was not pushy, all paperwork was as expected and executed quickly. JT was washed, tank full, good to go.

It's been said before...CHECK YOUR FUSES ARE SEATED! About 80% of mine needed another push to snap in place...a few were very loose.

Trail Rail
I ordered the trail rail package mainly for the under-seat storage and bed outlet, but the cargo hooks were the first to be put to use for the trek to Denver. I was glad to have them there.

Climate Control
I set automatic CC for 70F at Gupton where it was 63F, and never touched it after that. Not bad considering it was
-1F by the time I got to Kansas City. I found the cab to be super tight, with no drafts.

Uconnect
Way better than my previous GMC Denali HD system at recognizing voice commands, Apple Carplay, and browsing tracks connected via USB from my external drive. The weather app was helpful too.

Alpine Premium Stereo
Definitely have to play with the limited EQ to tune for the type of music. For my ears, it sounds best at high volume, and would probably sound a bit better with headliners in the hardtop. It’s not a priority though as the doors and top will be off as soon as the Denver weather gets a bit warmer.

Adaptive Cruise
I was on the fence about this but went for it based on all the mountain pass drives in heavy traffic on I-70W from Denver in a 4Runner and previous Denali Duramax. I used it on 80% of the drive, it worked flawlessly. It was a bit reassuring to know there was another set of safety ‘eyes’ for such a long solo highway drive.

Comfort
I thought the ride and seat were more comfortable than expected for the long drive (10 hours on day 1), with no issues or fatigue. Especially good considering I jumped in the Jeep after a 24-hour plane journey from Spain, with a quick overnight at Sheraton/BNA hotel before pick-up.

MPG
16.9 for the trip, traveling between 70-75MPH in very high winds for most of the trip. The DEF refill warning (400 miles to go) came on @approx. 1,100 miles. Topped it up in Denver and the message cleared.

Falken A/T 33s
A snowstorm with ice was awaiting in Denver, so I went to my storage unit parking lot and tested out the 2H/4H and tires. WOW, these things are very sticky, great traction in both modes. Not as good on the ice in 2H but it’s a pick-up and expected.

Overall a great purchase experience and loving the JTRD. First mods this weekend...Banks Pedal Monster, and Black Grille.

Looking forward to seeing Jeepers on the Colorado and Utah trails soon. Happy Trails!

Well, I picked it up and made it a few hours until the ice kicked. Pulled off and grabbed a room just in case. Roads got bad fast here. Maybe it doesn't happen often or something.

Was hard to find a place with openings. I'll probably take a nap and see what it's doing in a few hours. Trying to thread the needle before the rest of the ice hits tomorrow. Have another 5 hours or so to go at normal highway speed, so who knows what I'll get myself into.

Love it so far though! Worth the mess.

Didn't even make it 100 miles before she saw 4H Auto.
Jeep Gladiator Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice storm

I know the feeling, I didn't make it out of the Gupton's parking lot before going 4H.
I tried to get in and out before a snow storm hit in early January, but it showed up a few hours earlier than expected.

Had about 3.5 hours/80 miles of driving in the conditions you see above. At least it was snow and not ice (like you experienced), I feel like the Gladiator handled it rather well.

That's a helluva fun way to break in a JT!

ETA: lol how did you know the whole thing was painted the same color?? Gotta trust the dealer prep I guess!

Haha - right?
I thought it looked great, and you could still see just about everything when I first got there.
Although, with the excitement, I would've probably taken it regardless :).

Funny, Rene did say something along the lines of, 'sorry for not having it washed, outside clean, but hopefully, you understand.'

TBH, I was somewhat tense during much of that - having the thought of someone crashing into my brand new JTRD by losing control/traction really made me focus. I was probably driving like Denise from the movie "Summer School" if anyone remembers that one....

Whenever I'd see a car

Build it on the Jeep website. Save the PDF and send it to Gupton.
The best way is to email them the URL you get when you click Save the configuration.
That URL has all the option codes in it that they can put on the build sheet.

Great writeup! Thanks for the det's!
I hope to make that same trek in a couple months (hopefully not with a storm waiting on the front range!)

As an FYI to folks looking at the Gupton option:
The additional 1% for financing and TL program are off of the initial 5% off invoice.
i.e. The "6%" and 7%" discounts are not off of the original invoice.
They are additive - So to make the numbers work, calculate 5% off the invoice, then 1% off of that number (for "6%") and then 1% off of that number (for the 7%).

No big deal (Amounts to a couple hundred bucks more), but my numbers just weren't lining up initially calculating 6% and 7% off of invoice. One email to Daniel and he cleared it up that they are additive %'s.
Very upfront, clear and concise! No funny games being played.

Now to pass the time......

Congrats on ordering…Gupton seems to have a faster track for deliveries…no train involved… you may be doing the trek faster than you think ??

Guys,

I'm really impressed with my Gupton experience thus far. I do have two questions about them after the Gladiator arrives on their site.

1. Do they add a "Gupton" sticker to the vehicle or worse drill holes to add their logo to the vehicle? If so, will they honor a request to not do this?
2. Once a vehicle arrives on their site, how long to they take to prep it and get it ready for sale? (1 day, 3-4 days, a week?)

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Regards,
Ron
They do put the adhesive placard on don’t know if they won’t do it if asked I don’t want one either. A little heat gun action on medium followed with goo gone and that thing is history.

When I sent mine that way he emailed back and said he would rather have the pdf. ?‍♂
