I pick up my new Bright White JTR Friday at noon.

Wife and I are renting a car one way and driving the 4 hours to get it. Ditched the kids with GMA and GPA and staying the weekend in Nashville to visit some local establishments for music and drinks.

Hey Mike! I hope to head down there from the STL area at the end of the month and do something very similar. Have fun and enjoy your ride home!

Myself and at least two others that I know of.
Just curious as to who all might be on the same truck coming down. Although I believe they have a few hundred vehicles out on order at this time.

For those of you that have purchased from Gupton, how were you met by your local dealer if/or when you went in for service or warranty work? I'm afraid of the local dealer saying bring it back where you bought it.

Ultimately they are FCA dealers. If they they turn away business in any way makes no sense. I have moved multiple times and brought my vehicles to the local dealers. No different than going out of state to purchase a vehicle. I have also purchased my vehicle out of state now twice and never had an issue with a dealer saying that.

Yes; but, I live in Planet Florida. Where everything the dealer owns is gold and what you're trading in is not. Land of the ADM. I asked my local Jeep dealer about the Tread Lightly program and he said they don't honor that; but! they sell at MSRP! They don't mark it up higher than that. He was very proud of that fact.

Gupton advised us the wife's new Wrangler should be ready for pick up the weekend of 03/12. Anyone else going to be in town that weekend?

Have you looked at getting a price from the Mall of Georgia in Atlanta?

You can take it to any authorized dealing for warranty work; it doesn't have to be the one you bought it from.
I understand that. It doesn't mean any authorized dealer is going to want to do the warranty work. I'm more concerned with the dealer not wanting to service it because I didn't buy it there. Or, his customers get a service appointment within a week, while it takes 4 weeks to get me in. I used to be a service manager for Ford many years ago and unless things have changed, warranty work used to pay a fraction of book time. The owner of the dealership didn't want us servicing cars bought elsewhere. I can remember him saying "If they could travel that far to buy it, they can travel that far to get it fixed." Again, long before the internet; but, I'm sure there's still dealers that think that way.
