then have a dealer program? The $225 LED bulbs I installed in less than a hour, will have the low beams illuminate a two lane road from curb to curb, up to however far I aim them, but to keep from blinding oncoming traffic I lowered to approximately 2” lower at a 50” distance, that places it no higher than the taillights on an average sedan.
Yours are possibly some of those after-market LEDs that people curse and why NHTSB and others are looking into such things ;-)
Why have a dealer program them? You don't need that if you have Tazer, AlfaOBD or JSCAN and Jeep people doing mods really should own one of those three anyway.

Have you run any tests with another driver approaching to see how it impacts them? You can't tell by how much light is on the road - there's a few pickups around here with after-market LED lights I wish it was legal to shoot them out..

To think you can actually get quality lighting for that price? Yeah, ok.

Aftermarket led bulbs are marked and sold with the warning "for off-road use only" because they are not approved my DOT and/or NHTSA for road use.

I have a 2024 Gladiator Sport S with halogens. I am looking at OEM LEDs from All Mopar Parts - haven't decided on the original or blacked out headlights yet. I have yet to take the grill off, but the best I can tell it looks like the driver side headlight connector has 4 wires, passenger side has 3 wires. Based on other threads that I've read, I would need this harness (https://www.moparfactoryparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-headlamp-wiring-68414409ab) for the halos to work. Is this correct?

Also, All Mopar Parts makes this reference under their product:
  • Dealer programming is REQUIRED. Sales code LPX must be added to the vehicle.
I've seen videos/instructions on changing the headlight setting with a TAZER/JScan, but I don't think I've seen anything about a sales code. Can anyone clarify this?
Im curious about this harness, anyone used it and care to explain how easy is was to install. I got a set of led headlights a while back and would like to have the halos work if I can do it fairly easily.

The harness is needed for the passenger side only when installing OEM LED Headlights. It's about 8-10" long, it's more of a Jumper. Easy to install, once you remove the headlight, just unplug the power and follow the power harness back to the next connector. Remove the existing jumper harness and install the new one. But you might not need it. If your old harness that plugs into the headlight has 3 wires then the new 4 wire is needed. It powers the Halo. The driver side should already have the 4 wire harness in place.
Note: This is for 21 and newer. If you have a 2018 - 2020, then you need a whole different setup.

See the Notes section in this link about which kit you might need based on your year.

I understand what is involved with these, I have adjusted after I have driven in front of my wife, in a friend’s Corvette, with the both of us in agreement the low beams were not offensive at all, even with 400 lbs of quad runner in the bed with other stuff. Then we drove towards one another safely in a huge empty parking lot, we again agreed that there was no blinding glare. Also I’m lucky to live in beautiful Florida, where we have no inspections, with the police and Sheriff’s Deputies having plenty to do without worrying about white headlights. The idea these are illegal is absurd and only due to the fact some folks have no idea how to aim, but how about the many mall crawlers and rock climbing Jeeps are on the road with aircraft grade lighting, tires poking out from the fenders, fender removed and replaced by a 1/4 sized fender, lifted more than a road reasonable 4” or more? The rest of my Gladiator is all stock and remain that way for many years, replacing tires as they ware with under 33” tires. The only improvements will be for functioning on the roads and beaches plus forest trails. A good set of Bilstein 5100’s are next. Good luck!

I installed the OEM LEDs yesterday afternoon after a weekend trip. It was very easy to install - took all of 15 minutes. The harness did have four wires on each side so I did not need the additional harness for the passenger-side halo.

I used JScan to modify the following settings.

High Intensity Discharge Lights On/Off - Active
LED Quad Headlamps On/Off - Active

I searched adaptions for "Signature". This brought up two options for Signature Lamps/Lights. Set both to "Active" for the halos to work.

Lastly, I enabled LED High and LED Low beam. I am not sure if this was necessary as the headlights appeared to work with them, but a number of threads included those settings so I updated them just in case.

So far no issues. Once these storms pass, I will properly aim them as they are a little low right now.

Next, I am leaning towards OEM taillights, but will likely go with aftermarket fender and fog lights.

The fact that LEDS are not standard on all Gladiators is silly.
I'm not a fan of Full LED tail light units
LED do fail and get smashed on a trail ... they you have nothing you can do to fix it till a replacement comes in However, with Incandescent lamps I can carry small spare bulbs and roll of lens tape

Thank you, I was able to turn them on via Jscan. After a year I finally have the full effect of OEM LED lights and it’s definitely a better look.

I have a 2020 Rubicon with halogen and found some used OEM LEDs for a good price. I haven't checked the harness yet so we'll see if I need any added adapter/harness. I do have the tazer and will program before installing like I did for the halogen fogs I swapped out for OEM LEDs which worked great.
