i got it too for $480 recently. so far there has not been an exclusion for the badland apex winches on the standard HF 20% coupon as long as you used it when it’s regularly priced at $600. i don’t think you can use it when it’s “on sale” for $550 since i don’t think you can use the coupon for sale items. the cashier was surprised the 20% coupon worked.

I paid $400 for mine back in May with the 2yr warranty added in as well. It's good to know a store manager at Harbor Freight. I got to use to a 20% discount and he gave me his discount on it as well. Shipped right to the house. Love mine.

If this is a "price change" I'm really glad I got mine for a bit over 500 (incluidng 7% tax)

Hours later and it's back down to $480 with a coupon. Ok. Perhaps I'm being played. lol. Still not sure if I want or need a winch yet. I'm reluctant to add the extra weight up front but sure would appreciate the confidence having a winch gives when offroading.

Score! Made A free account with email and they sent me 20% off coupon. Lady at register said it wouldnt Work but I tested online before going to the store. Heavy as hell. Hope I don’t lose too much front lift. Is the gen3 12k smittybilt comp this heavy?
