Stopped a DD for a cup of coffee prior to an evening meeting.

A Woman in a new BMW X3 stopped me and commented on how she loves these new Jeep Pick Ups.

A boatload of questions.

Then asked if she could take some pictures.

Asked questions about models, and she thought the Overland leather was nicer than her BMW.

Very excited, and I still had my wallet when I left.

BMWs have lost their uniqueness: they look too generic, are a dime a dozen these days, and 99% of the are either black, silver or white.

I have never had a car that got so much attention. I’m guessing part of that is because it’s newer and stands out. Really nothing like it on the road.

Good fun!

I love talking cars/trucks. Just yesterday as was sitting in the parking lot having lunch a guy came up and started asking all sorts of questions and opening up doors. Was a good bit of time talking about the mods and features as he deliberated if a Glad was right for him :)

I mostly get wives telling me there husband wants one and see the husband in the background to embarrassed to admit he wants my truck and equally embarrassed his wife is explaining it to me.

Happened 3 times so far and I've only had mine since Saturday.

Yep- I get it frequently. Even had a drunk hobo outside of a gas station bombard me with questions about mine this past weekend. Wait, can I still say "hobo" in today's world?

Ho Jo is okay. Using the term "Hobo" indicates you may have hobophone tendencies.

Hadn't really thought about it until this thread, but I get a number of folks who feel the need to gawk at my JTR. Lots of couples too. I never know what to say. Just, "Thanks". It's kind of fun seeing it through someone else's eyes...
