Yeah, something's not right with your upgraded tire size and your speedo for sure. Going from basically a 33" tire to a 37" is a big jump. Not sure why the speed sensors would not work after the install.
And to answer your earlier question, by adjusting your tire size (actual measured size), with a programmer will help the computer make the necessary adjustments for shift points, etc. I would also suggest the Jscan app. Inexpensive and is accurate. I'm using it on mine and love how easy and intuitive it u to use. Check their website. They will tell you what blue tooth dongle and what cables to use. I think everything was $50. Also, if you are thinking about those small fender flares that attach to the Jeep's fenders, they aren't going to give you the coverage you need to keep stuff off of the sides with the amount of tire etending outside of the fenders. I'd suggest getting a front pair of the Rokblokz mud flaps. I installed a front set on mine and the do exactly that. You can pick a length and width you think would work for you depending how much poke you have going on. I went with XL Front
https://rokblokz.com/products/jeep-...ck-release-mud-flaps-1?variant=16409445564459

Nice looking JTRD!
Thanks! Rokblokz are on the list for the front.

I’ll look at the JScan. I’ve had my Tazer Mini for about 2 months and didn’t want to install until 1. I got closer to my factory 36k and lift-tires and wheels were installed. Attempted to install and with a combination of a jacked shoulder, back and gorilla hands…well I haven’t got’r done yet, but I’m not opposed to the J-scan…will still look at it.

Thanks for the messages above. I’ll read them better when I have a chance to stop, but I’m heading back from Georgia. Well, I was in Valdosta. I stopped by the discount tire there and spoke to Stephen, and he took his scan to out and found out that the centers were not activated even though the guy in my old town appeared to activate that we did it with all of the centers in his hand at the same time in any event it’s reading on the dash now. Question anyone that’s done tire swaps did you put a sensor in the spare to do a five tire rotation and did it work with the system? I went back to the original tire dealer and they cut the one out of the spare obviously you didn’t do anything. They didn’t pay me back for the sensor. I wanna censor it if it will do any good. Meaning when you’re doing a 5 mile rotation will pick up the fifth sensor that was in the spare tire location.
Result…

The 2nd location in Valdosta found that none of the sensors were installed were activated. He turned them on and now the TPS is working. Now I have to get the sensor reinstalled in the spare unless someone here can tell me the system doesn’t pick up a 5th sensor.

I have one in my spare, but my last 5 tire rotation it didn't want to wake up properly. My son works for Discount Tire, we and a few of the other guys messed with it to finally get it to wake up and be read.

From the factory there is no TPMS sensor in the spare wheel.
when installed and activated it will register when the spare is installed on One of The four Corners - after it has driven some short distance.

So if you do a 5-tire rotation and move the spare to the rear passenger, it still picks up the one you placed under the bet filling the place of the new spare? ...meaning the system still picks it up?

I'll say this, whether it means anything, at the first place, he said he activated them, which I believe he did as he had all 4, then added the fifth. It probably was an hour after that when I left, so maybe they timed out. The tech in Valdosta, activated them in the wheels after his test showed they were inactive. He then came in and showed me that they activated and the handheld unit stated take it on a 10 minute drive. I left promptly and it corrected itself before I got 1/4 mile down the road.

We experimented with the location of the valve and place it closest to the bumper to give it some distance from the receivers.

The system recognizes and reports readings from the four sensors closest to the RF hub. As long as the correct sensors are being used, they are picked up automatically. The spare tire is not shipped with a sensor because it is only intended for emergency use.

I've got to update my thumbnail pic...she's looking puny with the sagging stock springs under the oil burner...LOL

I'll also add, the Clayton kit provides an awesome ride. Absolutely should have increased the spring rate in the factory springs from the start and they screwed it up the second time after releasing the diesel TSB "fix".

Zero offroad time since the lift was installed. I wanted to get some miles on it to get any sag out of the new springs, that was coming and the extra weight from the new tires and wheels (87.3lbs and 29lbs respectively). I'll also remeasure the inner tire to a fixed surface to see if the track bars need any attention. I think I only have 350 to 450 miles on it since the install.

My spare has a tpms. When I rotate it in it takes about a minute or so of driving and the system picks up the sensor. I've done 6 tire rotations and I've had no issues.

You absolutely can, and it works perfectly. I’ve done probably 12 rotations, all 5 way rotations. I have a sensor in my spare and it’s under the bed. I’m using Oem sensors in my teraflex nomad wheels. They work great. I always put a totally different pressure temporarily in the tire that was previously the spare (passenger rear) to verify it picked it up. I’ve had 100% success.

Actually, at every startup, the system will only detects the 4 sensors that spins above 15 mph regardless where the 5th sensor are located.

And those would be the four closest to the RF hub. If there is a sensor in the spare, it should always be asleep and never detected since it does not spin while the truck is moving.

I hate to touch this again, but I’m looking for a starting point from those that have done it. Siri was no help.

Tire pressure: I ran the following numbers (picture) and came up with 26psi, but it has a disclaimer, which makes perfectly good sense. For optimal wear what have others found? These are 37x12.50R17’s.

Jeep Gladiator Help me understand- It’s been a long week IMG_0488

Currently, I have them filled to 32 from when they were installed and they looked decent with a little bit of pooch at the bottom just kinda like you want a radial tire, but I haven’t had a chance to do a chalk test yet and really don’t want to put too many miles on them until I do.
