Happy Thanksgiving guys! I have a JT Rubicon and currently, I run Toyo AT3 315/70/17 stock height. Just bought Clayton 2.5-inch Ride Right kit. Now I kinda regret it becasue I am worried about what if my tires look too small on the new lift? Should I cancel the order and go with Clayton 1.5 inch lift kit instead? Probably won't go 37s in the future.

Any advice and pics will help! Thank you guys.

I hope not, I have their 3.5 inch kit ready to install once my rear shocks arrive and I am on 35’s with no plan to go up in size yet.

You’re definitely gonna want 37s or to swap for the Clayton 2.5”. Im fairly certain that I’ve even seen folks with 40s on that Clayton 3.5” lift. It’s closer to a 4” lift in reality from what I’ve gathered.

I will be going up to 37’s at least in the future, just hoping to be able to finish out my 35’s before I drop the money on 37’s and the regear.

I had 35’s with my Clayton 2.5 RR and it looked fine, but the 37’s I have now make all the difference. Luckily I justified the upgrade by gifting my 35’s to my sons JK. We both win :)

Not a Rubicon. Mopar lift with an inch puck up front to level the rig. I have 315/70/17 KO2s. It looks perfect to me. I hope this helps.

I had the 315 70 17 BFG KO2 on a Mopar 2 inch lift. Looked OK. I just upgraded to the BFG KO2 37 12.50 17 and it rides better and looks much better. No Rubbing. the 37s are just a little narrower and that helps the sidewall flex better. The 37s are one of my top mods. Tomorrow I get the 4.88s to go with them. IMO, the 37s are a better tire for the JT than 35s are for several reasons. Not cheap.

I just got this set of 315s. because I didn’t plan to lift the trunk before. Should have waited… Should I get 1.5 inch lift instead? I was told by Clayton, it’s actually measured 2 inch.

Clayton 3.5” with 39’s.
Man, looks sick. I guess I have to go with 37s? What other components I need to run 37s properly?
