Help with unidentified securing object (bolt) found

My two year old found a bolt and turned it in to me. His seat is on the passenger side, and he supposedly found it on the floor board. I’m convinced it belongs to the truck, if not only because of the torx head. Does anyone recognize this? I have looked around from the ceiling to the floor and can’t find it’s home!

There’s a bunch that look like that. I have a few in my box of bolts from taking the top off. Can’t remember where they went.

But I also find fasteners under the rug. Etc. recreational marijuana isn’t legal in Ohio… so maybe it’s just the alcohol.

Check your seat rails where they bolt to the floor.

Also could be the under seat storage.

I checked there and none are missing, and they are different anyway. It seems very close in size the the bolts that are underneath the door handles. But I’m not missing any of those either.

Newer truck? I can see a line worker dropping one and just grabbing another, but a close look seems like the lock tight was on threads like it was installed. Anybody work on it ?

not that new, we bought it new March of ‘22. I’m the only one that works on it! Ha! and I hadn’t done anything, we’ve never taken the whole roof off, only the front two panels. It was found right at the end of 3k mile road trip. It seems like a long bolt to have wiggled out on its own, but we clean that floor A LOT, due to three car seats leaking snacks, crumbs and toys daily. So it couldn't been there that long.

Probably dropped more than it is missing a place for it. The assemblers grab handfuls of fasteners at a time and stuff gets dropped.

Trail Recon did a recent Youtube video of the Wrangler side of the factory assembly and it was atrocious the amount of assembly trash and dropped fasteners that were riding on top of the body holding platforms going down the assembly line.

Been more than a few threads of "What is This" of crap people have found in their Gladiators.

Unsurprisingly, my wife out did us all and found the hole. It goes to the grab handle underneath the rear middle seat! The other side was loose too, so much for the locktite.
