Mojave hood is bit tall, wider & thicker than Rubicon. Those plastic tabs & ribits did not hold it snug tight to the hood. So, i had to improvise a little to make snug fit. i broke the tabs and used screws instead.

It would be rad if you found someone who could airbrush the missing letters onto the black plastic. There seems to be enough of it there where you could make out the V and E if done well.

I would just buy the identical decal from someone reproducing them on Ebay or Etsy and carefully cut them so they fit all the ridges of the intake.

Finally decided to cut the hood after a year of installing mopar cai.
Highly recommend mopar cai & hood cutout + Corsa Cat back exhaust Night & day difference. You can feel it sucking that air.
Mojave hood is bit tall, wider & thicker than Rubicon aluminum vs metal, had to improvise a little to make snug fit.
No dremel needed, i wonder if it would have been able to cut this thick metal anyway, Harbor freight electric cutter works great but it does not come with cutting wheel.

I feel you, i installed the CAI & Exhaust like 8 months ago and now finally decided to install the hood part.

It lead to the air box barrier below the fiter, so the water flows and settle down at the bottom of the box and drains from the drain hole.

Unless you are giving it gas.

This looks like it’ll suck in droplets if you are giving it gas . Didn’t the JKs do the same thing and they would still hydrolock.

This would make me nervous.

Another option:
1.) Order 2 new Mojave decals
2.) Trim everything past the letter "j."
3.) Replace with the letter "o" from the new decal
4.) Repeat on the driver's side

Viola: You now have a "Mojo" edition JT!

The way pressure works underhood make this at best a 0-gain mod, but most likely a net negative. Could be wrong, but I don't think that's functional other than being a hole.
