How easy to remove AluCab ModCAP Tent unit?

Anyone know how easy it is to remove ModCap tent approx once a year ?

I'm planning to set up an overland rig and would love to leave it parked up and unused in my garage over winter. Problem is that if I go with the AluCab Camper, the rig won't fit in my garage, but I'm pretty sure that with the ModCap it will fit as long as I take the ModCap tent off it.

I would buy the smallest tires and rims possible to swap and drive it in the garage before I would take the tent off. I helped install mine, it’s a lot of bolts plus the front section that you see in gold is sealed. You would have to cut the sealant. I also have my entire top sealed on the inside where it bolts on to the lower section because I could see light in a few spots and sealed it to prevent leaks.

I was hoping it was some kind of gasket rather than a permanent sealant. I’ll be keeping my stock Max Tow tires/rims (31.5 in) but if that doesn’t quite do it, guess I’ll look for something even smaller. Thanks!

it does have a large gasket around the top of the canopy but the overhang area is what gets some sealant. I didn’t trust the large gasket so I sealed around the inside of the gasket. I think some installers may start to also add sealant under and above the large gasket

I'll take your word on that. I did a quick google-foo looking for a Gladiator on tiny wheels and that was one of the pics that showed up. lol
