How come you don't have state tax? I believe no matter where you buy, you have to pay the state tax where you register the vehicle unless of course you register and live in a tax free state like FL/TX - that's why JP1's price is so low...

We do have to pay sales tax on vehicles in Florida. We do not pay state income tax.

Too damn much - our dealers here are all owned by the same corporation - they've bought up everything and don't budge. So I paid MSRP and got ripped on my trade-in truck - 2 grand under average trade value. They gave all the excuses in the book - well we have to clean it up, fix this scratch, put tires on it, blah blah blah and wouldn't budge an inch. So full MSRP list price and only 16k allowed for a loaded LTZ Z71 2011 Silverado with only 47,000 miles on it and mechanically perfect.
But it's known that dealers around here suck on "deals". You want a vehicle? You take it or leave it. They still to this day pull that "I have to go check with my manager" BS and go talk sports for 10 minutes then come back with 'no, sorry, can't do that we don't make anything on these as it is'.
Want better? You have to totally leave this county, this area.

My email said only those in stock on the lot - otherwise I got no email stating I could take a grand off.
It's only good for the person who received it. Mine looked different than examples posted online and said in stock only, not valid on special orders or words to that effect.

That's what I was originally going to get until my wife talked me into the Overland................ I dug through our emails - nothing that could be applied. Really funny, too - we've bought Jeeps for decades and trade every 2 to 3 years, almost always going back for a new Grand Cherokee.

Just joined the JT club yesterday, drove a few hours down to Northern VA and got a great deal on a white, manual transmission Rubicon. 45k out the door. MSRP was 48. Traded in my 2018 JKU and must admit, the difference is stark. I loved my JKU but I also love this Rubicon. Two completely different vehicles. Although the purchasing experience was brutal with the dealer I worked with, their desire to move the vehicle made me put up with it!

NOBODY has bought a Gladiator since 2021? SHENANIGANS! I traded my 21 Mojave in for a 23 Power Wagon in January 24 but looking to trade back into a Mojave X for $51k and some change with a trade-in on the PW w/level 1 equipment group current series for $56k (paid `$61K) with 6K+. What say you?
