How to add accessories in an Overland

I have a question. With the look of my dash, which doesn't have any accessory switches, how do I add any accessories, such as LED lights, to my truck?

I keep hearing things like the Overland is a Mall Crawler, and the Overland is the luxury model. But the Rubicon, Mojave, and the High Altitude all have more luxury than the Overland. I don't think that should be said about the JTO.

However, back to my question, where on the dash would I, or even could I, wire up a switch for any accessories? Thanks.

On the lower right of the center console is a pocket for the AUX Switch kit. My Overland came with them factory installed. The dealer can add them, or you can buy the kit and do it yourself.

Not sure why this would be. I ordered my Overland with the Aux Switches, and they are below the media ports. The media ports are at the same level as the 12v receptacle. The 12v to the left and media ports to the right of the four window switches.

The switches would go where the current pocket/slot is below the 12v outlet. Left side locker controls right side aux switches.

Unless you're hellbent on going the MOPAR route, you could do it much more easily and cost effectively via 3rd party solutions like the QuakeLED 8-output controller (just one example).

My dash has a cutout (cubby for storage) beneath my 12VDC lighter, window controls, and USB connectors. As a result, there's no room. My extra glasses are in the little storage cubby.

Pretty sure the Aux switch kit comes with new cubby sections. One blank or "open" for the left and one to install the switch bank into on the right just like the photo I posted of the Aux switches mounted in the Overland:

Check out the VOswitch JL300 has 6 switches and much easier install than oem switches

You would have to check with a Jeep parts distributor to determine what model year it fits.

However, if that specific part #'d kit does not fit a 2021, they must have another kit that will as the Aux Switch Group is a $295 package available on a 2021.

The VO Switch system is around $250 and does not run through the trucks computer, so you don't have to have the computer flashed. Was a easy install took less than two hours and I was very slow taking the dash apart. That said I thank that I could do the install in less than a hour.

The JL300 is sold out but it also looks like it's for the Rubicon. I have nothing in that spot except a storage cubby.
