Now that I've done most of the work...I'm wondering why mount the CVPM back there on the rear cab wall? Total pain in the ass. I get it....the factory did it...but the factory didn't do what you're doing with the video cables.
Mount it under the passenger seat. Shorter video cables, far less interior disassembly, CAN bus availability right there with glovebox removed, ground lugs available on passenger kick panel. You'll save yourself an enormous amount of disassembly/reassembly and much less broken interior trim clips.
If your truck has factory aux switches, just put the CVPM on the ignition on wire. Then just 1 cable to move to engine compartment...the front cam video cable.
