I did find it and it was enabled so I disabled it, But it hasn't gone away I assume it will in a few driving cycles?
Correct. Since the CVPM overlays it’s own zoom soft key, along with the other camera soft keys, you need to get rid of the soft key the BCM is telling the radio to use. It’ll take some time to disappear.

Done! 2021+ CVPM fixed my issues. Until @Jimmy07 updates his post, I encourage you all to use my thread for the parts list:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/my-oem-front-trail-cam-install-thread.52216/

Cliff notes on issues with this thread, while great as it is:

1. Jimmy's post is 1.5 years old and does not consider 2021+ Gladiators which require a DIFFERENT CVPM.

2. Typo on camera bracket part number.

3. Missing a washer hose...the one that goes from pump to hose that connects to washer elbow.

4. Jumper harness for pump. You can either reverse the 2 wires at the pump or buy the correct harness.

Jimmy made this happen! I wouldn't have dreamed of doing this were it not for this thread. It just needs some fine tuning. If he updates his thread to address my 4 points it is golden. Jimmy is the man.

I been following for a while and I'm happy ecidiego got it working as if it would've come from factory!

Now, did the CVPM that came in your 2021 originally is not the same one that you bought? I'm a little confused on that. I looked at part numbers and I saw the two you were talking about for 2020 then for 21-22 but there's only one part number for 21-22 so I figured that the one that came with your truck would've work?

If you don't have a factory installed front trailcam, you don't have a CVPM at all. Your rear camera connects directly to the 8.4 head unit.

It is required that you add the CVPM and all related components to get the front trailcam to work. What I did wrong was I bought all the parts listed in Post 1, not paying attention to the fact that this thread was made when only 2020 Gladiators existed. I soon found out that 2021+ use a different CVPM. Installing that different part # fixed my issues. A few posts back I detail the only issues with the parts list.

Oh, gotcha, no wonder the part numbers for the CVPM screws are in the list.. that makes a lot more sense now. I'm doing this to my wife's JL. For a JLUR, I won't have to buy the washer pump because the one that comes in the JL's with hardtops is already the dual outlet; I'll have to tap in the line going to the back window, If I remember correctly (from we rented one a while back). I looked at the part numbers already for the JL. Surprisingly, the center grill part number is different, and obviously the CVPM, etc., but most parts are the same. I'll figure it out. I'll probably send a PM if I have any questions, lol

JL's are yet another CVPM:

Video Processor Module - Mopar (68551941AA)
2021-2022 Jeep Wrangler - 68551941aa

Obviously realize people in here are talking about Gladiators so sift through the parts list closely as you are doing.

Why do I need to get new rear camera ? And much for the cvpm harness
The rear camera that comes with NON front camera equipped Jeeps from the factory is not compatible with the CVPM. It's a completely different camera, both size and focal length.

@Jimmy07 can sell you the harness if he is still willing.

Great review, lots of hard work running part numbers etc. My hat is off to all those who have added to the parts list.
I have a 2021 Overland and you convince me I don't need a trail camera or the headache trying to buy all the parts and installing them.
Thank you for the over view.
