I am absolutely pleased with my stock 20” rims. I put 305/55/20 on and the truck behaves very well with these. Adjusted the size with Tazer and good to go.

No complaints. And I love how they look with the Wildpeaks I dropped on them a couple of weeks ago.

ARE? Are you happy with it?

Very happy. Great quality and perfect fit. Would not have gotten without this though.....

Crawling in after stuff and reaching in through a side window is not for me.

I loved the 18” wheels on my Sahara. I got rid of them when I got a lift and 35” tires.

Nope, everything is just fine with the JT Overland... The wheels are perfect. One of my favorite things about the Overland actually. I might even buy Overland 18” wheels for my 2021 Mojave I’m trading my 2020 Overland in for.

I wasn’t a fan of the stock wheels so I kept my wheels and 34” Toyos that were on my trade in. I had just purchased the tires a month ago.

Yesterday I removed the Jeep badges from the fenders and tailgate. Going for a blacked out look. I still need to paint the silver grill accent and swap my black lug nuts

it's the 18" wheels.

Everytime I look at my JT or someone else who puts new tires on the stock Overland rims, they always look off. Someone puts 16"/17" rims and tires, the rim to tire ratio just looks better. Go up to 20" wheels, different ratio and that still looks better than 18" wheels.

What's sad is I love the style of the Overland rims, it's just an odd size for mid-size truck.

So Overland owners... do you see it too?
Nope, in fact I like the looks of the Overland rim better than any of the other stock rims.
And those who have put better 33" tires on them - such as the A/T types, looks great to me.
20" wheels remind me of a classic car with 2" tall tires and 20" rims - I just don't like it.
I think the ratio is just right on the Overland wheel.
In fact I am thinking of selling my Rubicon take-off tires/wheels and getting 18" Falken A/T tires put on my Overland rims.

I'm a fan of 18" wheels on the Gladiator no matter if it's stock or aftermarket. 17's on 37's just look like too much tire and 20's on 37's look like not enough. 18's on 37's is perfect (in my opinion).

I had 15x10s on my TJ and I prefer them over the 17x8s I put on my JT both with 35x12.5s

It appears odd ballish with the overland stockers. I put 20's with 285/55/20 toyo's on and I like the look.

I don't see it with 35's. But to each his own. Are the Stock Overland wheels my favorite? No. But I liked them just enough to not spend the money on new wheels. Got the tire size I wanted also. Which was a 35/11.5. I really wanted to keep my wheels under the fenders.

This! is a really nice rig. Did you level/lift to get the tyres on (is it in this thread that I missed?)? What did you use?

Yes...can't stand the look of the stock Overland wheels. For me, it's the polished lip that makes it look awkward (on a truck). If it were all gunmetal, I probably would've kept them. I asked the dealership if they would swap them out before I took delivery, and they obliged. Went with the black 17" Willys wheels instead.

All that said, bigger, more aggressive tires seem to minimize the awkwardness to some degree, so at least there's that imo.
