From studying the picture, his lift is engineered using blue branded "almost tough enough" ratchet straps (not the stonger upgraded orange branded "tough enough" straps). The blue strap on the left has unfortunately failed. Once a new strap is installed, he should be good to go!

The whole thing looks like bubble gum and duct tape, though.... fugly, IMHO
