Well the OP can buy a hard top from a dealer or the second hand market.

Another option if they find one that doesn’t have the right color interior is to get Katzken covers that are just as good as OEM if not better..

That was my thought as well considering it literally had everything else.

Went through this ordeal in January 2023
when I wanted a Nacho Gladiator
(made only the first three months of 2021 production)
with color matching grille, fenders and hardtop.
It was all about the color.
Nothing else mattered.

Did not particularly want a Rubicon
but Google found a very nice one
at an independent dealer
in Mannheim, Pennsylvania.

You only go around once
and am definitely near the end of the ride.
Dealer split the shipping 1,400 miles to East Texas,
$1,000 for my half.

Upholstery can be replaced.

I'd recommend using Autotempest.com. It aggregates a bunch of different sites and its filters are pretty decent.

That being said, you're going to want to weigh out what you really want vs need and limit your search keywords to as few options that couldn't be added after purchase. Start with trim, transmission, exterior color and go from there.

There are a ton of them (makes me feel better after several comments indicated we would not find many Snazzberry Mojave options - they had me worried, but there are plenty) . I will let my wife start sorting through them and try to narrow it down to 5 or 6 before I dig into the list. This is going to help a lot. Thank you.

I know quite a bit about cars and trucks, but very little about off road techniques. The manual transmission Gladiator is intriguing. I prefer manual, but my wife will not drive them. The MT has substnatially less towing capacity, but I am not sure we will tow anything heavy (just a small 16" boat once in a while. Nut how does MT impact off road capability? Better or worse? I expect we will be mostly in snow, mud, and sand. Maybe driving over some fallen trees but not likely to do a lot of serious rock crawling (probably try it a few times for fun, but that is about it). Does the AT MT difference work better for one type of slogging vs another? I know MT is better in snow and ice for other types of vehicles (not 4x4), but no idea with a jeep.

The manuals do have a significantly lower towing capacity. But you said something very important. The wife doesn't like 'em. That eliminates it out of the gate. She doesn't like it and you won't be able to switch drivers on a long road trip.

I've crawled rocky ledges with an auto. I've wheeled hard in sand and muck in a manual. I think it's your preference but im sure someone here will throw a bunch of reasons why or why not one over the other.

(I am biased- I prefer manual and my daily is a 6MT.)

To the OP, you have good taste ;-). If it helps, I can share some info here, that might help to set expectations. I think I have most of what you're looking for, but my JTM Snazzy is around 65k miles, and not currently for sale. In my profile pic, that's with the Mopar tube-door/mirror kit and DV8 step sliders. I don't have the ACC ( nor front trail cam ) on JT, but my wife's JTHA Snazzy does -> it works well on hers, but I'm glad that I didn't pay for ACC on mine. Mojave's are steel hoods, all others are not.

The Snazzberry color was a limited timeframe, and stopped around mid '22 ( or before ), and I haven't seen a whole lot of Mojave's with paint matched top/fenders [ that's was an extra add-on for around 2k I think ]. The headliner is relatively easy to add on, and you have options there. In terms of the trail-rail system, I'm not sure if it can be added on; you can always throw some wheel'd toats in the back ( from a big box store ).

If you're looking for a winch up front, I've seen some Mojave owners replace the front springs, from a newer Mojave that came from the factory with a steel bumper, like maybe a '23 and up ( I'll probably have to do the same to add a winch ). I don't think that any of the Snazzberry Mojaves ever came OEM with a steel bumper ( capable of adding a winch ).

If you can find one that was manufactured in 2020 or before Aug 21, then you might get one that's pre GPEC5 ( https://magnusonsuperchargers.com/collections/gladiator-jt/products/01-19-36-003-bl ) and be able to add a supercharger [ not that I would recommend w/out upgrading some engine internals ]. AMW built quite a few of these gladiators with mega horse power, and I think they really liked these Mojaves for the stronger frame and the extra 1" hood depth.

Many of the options that you've defined, are now sold in the Mojave X package, and given the choice, like you, I would still opt for something that's before they started throwing in that ridiculously large screen in there ( '24? ).

Its not expensive, but there is a procedure to follow. If Canadians buy a vehicle in the States, we have to send the title/import documents to the border agency 24hrs before we get there with the vehicle. I’m not sure how it works going the other way.

Yes, there has been. Typically, dealers can only provide warranty service for vehicles made for sale in their country. Importing may make sense for something custom or special, but not for a readily available vehicle like a Gladiator.

We are looking for a very specific Gladiator. We found one locally, but it had a rebuilt title and the insurance cost woudl have been insane. We found two others, but they had had a light grey or white interior and my wife took one look at the interior and said "Nope"

Google searches are not that productive. You get different offerings from big listing sites like Cars.com, Kelly, Autotrader, and Carvana,; but then there are individual dealers that pop up with Gladiators that do not show up on any of the big sites. I imagine there are private sales and auctions that can be found too, but no luck yet.

I am pretty good at these searches, but I have very little time as I am dealing with personal crises for my father, a brother, and one of my kids (people tend to rely on me to solve big problems, because that is what I do for a living), as well as trying to get our house ready to sell, buy a smaller house, prepare for retirement in a few years, . . . This is a really difficult time for us and our spare winter car just died, so we are forced to try to find our gladiator sooner than expected.

I know there are some people who enjoy this kind of search and would love the help. If not you, then you already read too far. If you want to help, this is what we are looking for:

Jeeps are made in the US, so there is no import fees to pay. Warranty, Im not sure how that works. My Canadian warranty has been honored in the US on my Glad!

FCA will honor the warranty for those on international travel between Mexico, Canada and USA who maintain title and registration back in their country of origin.

What FCA will not honor for warranty in the USA is those who import from Canada or Mexico a export market vehicle back into the USA that is then titled and registered here.

About 10+ years ago, the USA to Canada dollar exchange rate was favorable to USA buyers that could save many thousands importing a Canadian market vehicle into the USA. FCA then stopped honoring the warranty transfer to discourage the practice.
